@Mrstreetballer97 The album is still waiting in the wings, because I haven't had time to put the final stamp on it. If it's not out in the next couple weeks I'll be disappointed.
Nsite, did you say you'll fast for me? That's a sweet upgrade of being prayed for. You should fast until I convert, like a "jesus take the wheel" type thing.
The art doesn't disappear through any certain approach of music. Subtle is one approach, direct is another. I love subtleties in music, but subtle is a more contemplative approach that can become mundane if overused. For every brendas got a baby there is an equally powerful fuck the police. Everyone has their preferences, but degrading a certain approach is too dismissive. It's all about execution of the approach, which you are free to criticize all you want.

@greydonsquare Yes I do realize that...Theres an R and B type song about atheism that is pretty good....Its kinda like for me, you have to submerge your true intent of the song behind real life. You cant just come out and say...Christianity is a logical fallacy...Its too straight to the point....Id prefer personal experience illustrated through lyrics which lets the listener arrive at the point you were trying to make..it seems like all too often the "art" disappears when with songs like this
@charles030981 However you're position isn't compatible with your statement. To say it's "wack" and to say it's all wack, is to assert you've heard it all. Which i'm pretty sure you haven't. Nor have I. But the only statement I can make is about the music I do and don't like. Not about what IS wack and what isn't. Its not the statement "I don't like rap" its "I havent heard rap I've ever liked". Big difference.
@greydonsquare This is my original statement " All atheist and christian music Ive ever heard has been wack..."
I only said what Ive heard has been wack...I haven't heard much...maybe 3 or 4....I think I liked your original one...I have a particular taste and enjoy a specific sound....maybe I should not have said its wack...maybe its better to simply say I didnt care for anything I've heard thus far.....and for the record I am an artist so I can appreciate where youre coming from
@madjimms Because there are 100 drakes, lil waynes, and busta rhymes who can give you a better party song than a Greydon Square can. I'm simply not a party rapper. Question IS, why would anyone think that writing about partying is a good usage of my writing ability? With all of the information I consume, partying is .00001 percent of the subject matter I assimilate. Truth be told, when i'm making music, i dont think about partying and when I'm partying I don't really think about writing music.
@greydonsquare No, I don't think you understood what I was asking. I don't want a song about you partying (I don't party ever either) I just want a song that would be good to listen to in the car with some good bass & something relaxing, maybe a G-funk but with intellectual lyrics?
@madjimms In that case check out The album i did called The Kardashev Scale. Plenty of songs about future tech and scientific principles with much less atheism. Might be more up your alley.
@ymereg3333 Go look up rationalwarrior here on youtube he is just as good, he even commented, maybe you can still see, it he said: "This song is dope as fuck!!! Good job! #GU"
