We know that the world is supposed to end in this game (Of course Desmond will save it) Using information in The Truth videos it says 2012 in several different ways. Also the date when you play as Desmond is shortly before "The end of the world" which is in 12/21/12 So that is likely to mean that the last Asassin's creed will come out on that date. @ThePunisher014 Okay, so here is my challenge to you: find me proof that this is happening right now, or has happened. Find proof of an old alien society who enslaved people. Is there a corporation that is funding modern day templars and is there a machine such as the animus? If you can find me proof of all of this and present it to me, then you have the right to call me a fool, but a fool I am not, based solely on opinion.

@MrGizmodizzle don't twist my words, I did not say that there is an Animus machine that plays ppl's memories with their ancestors nor an alien society that enslaved ppl in the past but the Templars are still existed and they are the real leaders of today's world (Illuminati, Freemasons...the labels vary but they refer to the same Organization), you want proofs, but i cannot summarize this whole thing even in a freaking text cuz i made my researches and my sources are various..

EVERY Assassins Creed is about an illuminati (Abstergo).

In the hundreds of years since then 'illuminati' has become a term used to describe a purported secret organisation which controls the world. For example, the illuminati in The Da Vinci Code, or Abstergo in Assassins Creed.

We know that the world is supposed to end in this game (Of course Desmond will save it) Using information in The Truth videos it says 2012 in several different ways. Also the date when you play as Desmond is shortly before "The end of the world" which is in 12/21/12 So that is likely to mean that the last Asassin's creed will come out on that date. No offical resources just an idea. Don't be trolling on me.

What matters is that the basic idea would still work today. An army that never lines up and fights in the field, but is instead an army of secret, stealthy killers, used to control any sort of important organization.

@musicmaniack256 they are neither. In actuality, they were a sect all their own that comprised a rather powerful military presence in the middle east. In my studies, I've found that they did take a rather pacifistic approach, resorting to violence only if necessary.
When we first take a glimpse into the Assassin's Creed, we are introduced to Altaïr and his master Rashid ad-Din Sinan (Al Mualim) while some of the truths are stretched in the game, it sticks pretty close for the most part.

@musicmaniack256 that's a really good question.. most historical documents show them being wiped out by the Mongols after the siege of Alamut. However, there are some writings that say that some of them were given jobs in exchange for their lives. So it's perfectly possible that some semblance of the order is still around today. However, this is all really hearsay because there are no positive links.
