@Battleoner It's to prevent a priority move critical hit that would kill the defense-feeble or special-defense-feeble Smeargle if I don't get to pass Defense/Sp.Def first to that thing. Better safe than sorry so it doesn't completely ruin the strategy. It doesn't need any other better item anyway.
If you want to do this to pass to a weak Pokemon, try at least a Pokemon with a good movepool. Something like Magikarp and Caterpie can be stopped even if fully set up.
@xDAZZE there already been magikarp,caterpie and weedle sweeps it are 3 of the most known pokemon clips on youtube... and its not on shoddy where u just can be lazy and set all ur stats...

Your lead is too weak to a fast lead like Azelf or Aerodactyl. They'll taunt your Umbreon right off the bat. Then It'll pretty much be useless, giving them a free stealth rock setup to rape your Ninjask. That also gives your Sashed Smeragle a useless Sash. And Regigigas sweeper is pretty cool. So underrated for its ability, but if your actually deciding to use it, I suggest a Lucario or something that will not take damage from sandstorm.
Against Azelf or Aerodactyl I'd predict taunt and switch to Ninjask right away. It's quite easy to get a few speed boosts in, then BPing to something else isn't hard. Get the sweep for the taunters out then go back to original plan. I know Taunt is a weakness just like all teams have weaknesses. This obviously isn't my main team; I play it for fun.
Fake Out is only good for 1 turn. I rather have better Type coverages. Plus, Regigigas can live much longer than Medicham with its 110/110/110 HP, Def and SpD.
also forgot to mention, your smeargle should be your lead, so you can ingrain and make yourself immune to whirlwind and the like faster. also spore's 100% accuracy and instant action is much better then waiting a turn for yawn.
No, because he can switch after I Spore it, and due to Sleep Clause, I can't put another Pokemon to sleep, so without the Mean Look from Umbreon, he can just send in something such as Salamence or Gyarados and set up Dragon Dance and sweep. Their sweeping is much faster than my defensive boosts + passes, so that is a bad idea. Also, any lead, such as Infernape, Weavile, Hitmontop or Ambipom with Fake Out can kill Focus Sash and then kill me next turn or take me down enough so I can't Belly Drum.
I have Spore on my Smeargle, in case you didn't see. The Yawn is simply for conveniency on Umbreon and Vaporeon for sleep so I can constantly sleep my opponent's Pokemon (and since it cannot switch due to the Mean Look). Umbreon/Vaporeon can't learn Spore, and I can't be constantly going back to Smeargle just for a Sleep because it has very low Defense.
Very nice I was thinking of making something simmilar. use, regigiga's slow start is a killer though, 5 turns when everythings halved. use barbrial(SP) its simple doulbes stat boost, so when you baton pass into it you get twice the boosts you did. return is a good move for this. also a serene grace togekiss with ancient power will boost all stats 20% of the time, and i think it can baton pass.

Medicham (adamant) 252 atk ev = 480 atk surpassing regigas 460 max and faster (after slow start)
Can use all 3 elemental punches, can baton pass, and can recover.
