Kasparov beat French super GM Vachier Lagrave a few months ago, although he is away from competitive chess for like 6 years. He still seems to be in great shape.

Also, nobody can criticise the FM for playing on. Of course he will, until a moment when he sees that there is no reasonable move remaining on the board. As most of the people does.

The timer is a great machine used to count things, such as cooking devices, fuckin faded, vanish, anything that you can do to reset aggro. "There is no aggro reset"

Perhaps a few precisions are in order. 1) I'm NOT a grandmaster, just a simple master who got to play his chess idol. 2) Although the result was NEVER in doubt, it was somehow competitive. 3) With only 1 minute to play, it was absolutely justified to continue playing, until I lost the exchange. There are drawing tendencies with bishops of opposite color. To those who think I should have resigned when I knew I was lost, I could have done so on the first move!

It's not like it was a classical game that took 5 hours and kept Kasparov from catching a flight. I've played tournament chess, and believe me, I've seen real disrespect, like flying coke cans.
