Could someone tell me what strings you are strumming at the E-cord. At the first strum you hit the top 3 one at a time. But after that, when you slide them from 5th back up, are you strumming all top 3 simultaneous?

I let the E string ring out. I go to the 5th then the 4th and then back to the E-chord
