3-4 buttons? I got 26 buttons keybound that I use regulary when tanking ^^ add consumables to that, the reason you pvp is that you're not skilled enough to pve... and it was a couple of months ago since I did dailies last time lolz

The people who made AoC have far less experience with balancing characters, warhammer online has 25 years of learning to balance characters, im sure if there is an unbalance in the characters its a very slight unbalance.
ehm games workshop exists for 25 years and don't have anything to do with making mmo's..they just deliver the concept of the game with all the smallest details..i think you mean mythic has the experience and know how to balance things out :)
touche, either way they are very proud of their balancing system. WoW's idea of balancing is making another character OP and nerfing the last OP character every month or so. AoC has obvious balancing issues and non of them i can promise will be talking about their balancing any time soon. Ive heard no overpowered complaints on the beta RVR testing, so its showing their word to be true so far about their balancing :).
the age of conan beta wasn't that good either, i was in it and all i have to say is NERF OVERPOWERED CLASSES (rangers/gayngers/assassins and so on), which sucks because they can't even balance 12 classes in aoc...
I'm not saying WoW was the first and best of its genre...but it is a good game. I will be trying this game too...I certainly am not a hardcore WoW fan, but it is number one rated mmorpg released atm and will probably only become more popular with the next expansion.

You are wrong about the WoW beta. It had 500k people sign up for it. Warhammer has had 670k sign up for theirs but 670k arent actually playing it...
Other than that you are correct. Blizzard copied warhammer and made the warcraft world. Then ripped off the Starcraft world from 40k and diablo was based off of D&D. I love blizzard games but all their ideas are far from original.

hmm well the pvp in wow sickens me, its the same grind all the time, and the pvp is really messed up... but ill kinda agree with you the pvp doesnt have that "wauw" effect that wow has, but imo wow pvp is all about CC and AOE, fear or stun the other person long enough and you win ... that doesnt really take any skill.

Your right about after playing a game for countless hours for no end it does get boring when all you do is grind for gear then PVP. When I got my highest WoW toon to 43 then I got bored of the game when it's all about grinding... stupid quest's nothing to help the War effort on each side. Ganks if your on a PVP server. The game didn't do it for me. What I wanted to say is this game doesnt end because of the war vs each faction. 1 Week a different city could be burned down or save it.
before they changed it making x4 easier to lv it was grinding to each lv and at 70 it's gear... like I said the game is all about {grinding} like at your professions... grind, epic gear grind, lv to 70 grind, 90g,600g,1000g,5000g for mounts grind even for money. I got bored of it, grind Rep even... it' like I said on top.

wow never had a storyline, there was severeal storys within the game but it never had a main-storyline, it was just based on the warcraft games, and it was still based on the warcraft games after tbc came. I do agree that wow aint the same after tbc that it used to be, but it don't really have anything to do about the storyline...

Games like everquest appeal to a niche market of people who enjoy the story and lore, unlike wow which for many reasonsons appeals to all. Waralready has 600k beta applicats and on release will sell about 2 million i expect. But the real question is wether it will stand the test of time?
WoW had it's time with ganks and cheating to win at pvp and you know what classes that do it. Warhammer is going to be fair for any class being able to beat another one plus NO gankes are us with fucking stupid 70's in 20-50 zones most of the time to show they have no life. You are wrong about the WoW beta. It had 500k people sign up for it. Warhammer has had 670k sign up for theirs but 670k arent actually playing it...
Other than that you are correct. Blizzard copied warhammer and made the warcraft world. Then ripped off the Starcraft world from 40k and diablo was based off of D&D. I love blizzard games but all their ideas are far from original.

hmm well the pvp in wow sickens me, its the same grind all the time, and the pvp is really messed up... but ill kinda agree with you the pvp doesnt have that "wauw" effect that wow has, but imo wow pvp is all about CC and AOE, fear or stun the other person long enough and you win ... that doesnt really take any skill.

Your right about after playing a game for countless hours for no end it does get boring when all you do is grind for gear then PVP. When I got my highest WoW toon to 43 then I got bored of the game when it's all about grinding... stupid quest's nothing to help the War effort on each side. Ganks if your on a PVP server. The game didn't do it for me. What I wanted to say is this game doesnt end because of the war vs each faction. 1 Week a different city could be burned down or save it.

before they changed it making x4 easier to lv it was grinding to each lv and at 70 it's gear... like I said the game is all about {grinding} like at your professions... grind, epic gear grind, lv to 70 grind, 90g,600g,1000g,5000g for mounts grind even for money. I got bored of it, grind Rep even... it' like I said on top.

Every game gets old after thousend hours of playing. expecally in WoW. if you reach to the end and do everything over and over again.You'll get tired of it.The game itself dosent have to be bad at all. WoW was superb game 1-60 when it came out, even expansion was playable soon as you were geared up, the grind fest started again. Only thing i actually enjoyed in BC was arena two seasons and Nagrand leveling

wow never had a storyline, there was severeal storys within the game but it never had a main-storyline, it was just based on the warcraft games, and it was still based on the warcraft games after tbc came. I do agree that wow aint the same after tbc that it used to be, but it don't really have anything to do about the storyline...

I think its pretty worthless to compete between WoW and Warhammer. Those who want to play WoW will play WoW and those who want to play warhammer will play warhammer.
All I know is that my monthly fee is definetly gonna be converted from WoW to warhammer.
That being said, warhammer certainly wont "beat" WoW at first but depending on how well they keep it going it always has a chance.

nah its because it was the first fantasy MMO with acessibility and good depth. Games like everquest appeal to a niche market of people who enjoy the story and lore, unlike wow which for many reasonsons appeals to all. Waralready has 600k beta applicats and on release will sell about 2 million i expect. But the real question is wether it will stand the test of time?
