  • Thank you so much ! it 's nice to hear what you think , all these assholes on magazine covers and then you hear this and you say what the fuck ! why don't ever hear about these guys, like Ronnie Earl etc etc

  • Sounds a lot like SRV. I prefer a slower method to the Blues.

  • I've been privileged to see Ronnie twice-it just amazes me he gets all this sound and tone and does it with no pedals--a true master of technique similar in that respect to Roy Buchanan

  • Ronnie is as good as Stevie ...his tone is pure & clean...those guys mentioned are all amazin tho...Johnny A is masterful ...not everone can survive on blues ...Ronnie is the man-u r right on there son!

  • His wife is my chemistry teacher hahaha his last names Horvath and hes a cool guy ive met him personally

  • Great!

  • love this stuff...the real thing. Anson Funderburgh is another great player with the less is more approach...tasty.

  • @ribluesy

    I agree fully !!!

  • When was this filmed?

  • I Love Stevie Ray but you got to admit when you hear Ronnie you just gotta say WHAT THE FUCK ! it's a crying shame that these guys who really know what they are doing never get any press but they shove shit like Kenny Wayne Sheppard Johnny Lang Joe Bonamassa down you're throat and the real masters never get any credit ! Oh throw Johnny A in with those wanna be's ......LOL

  • I think Ronnie would say that there is room for everyone. Just enjoy him without putting others down. That's not what Ronnie is about. But I hear your frustration, its well intentioned. If you love Ronnie and you haven't already have a listen to old Otis Rush as well as guys liek Magic Sam. Peace.

  • @Bluesbarri I agree....Jimmy Vaughan to; yes, he's recognised by musicians, but the guys you mentioned get far more press than him and he's another master of phrase and timing.

  • @Bluesbarri You spelled it wrong... it's Joe Shitamassa

  • Maaan, Ronnie on the top of his game.

  • What's become of him?, I saw him on this tour, he burned the place down. Then I moved away from the NE and never see him tour, any info?

  • He apparently needed to get away from touring for awhile, but is back, check out some of the posts of him from the last year or so, especially a few from the same festival sitting in with Kim Wilson and the Fabulous Thunderbirds, he's better than ever!

  • Excellent!!!

    Grandma Mary

  • Great sound!

Do anybody knows what amp and effects use this man?

  • Fender Strat - BF Fender Super reverb Amp and a BF Fender Twin Reverb Amp. No effects.

  • @Bluesswede

Which in itself is rather rare these days--- he so old school which is way cool.

  • @Bluesswede

Damn! that's about cool How many people do you know that own a Twin Reverb (I do) plus a SuperTwin Reverb??. I about to sell my Twin (circa 1974)

  • Wow!!!

  • Ronnie Earl and The Broadcasters at their finest; it doesn't get any better than this!
