naaaa i dont think its a newport 17, i think it looks more german, the engine cowling on the newport 17 was more round, and the bottom wing was thinner, the upper wing was more angled and thicker, and i dont think it had those pointy wing tips, i think the newport 17s where more round aswell, i think its more of a fokker made aircraft, beacuse if you look at the dr fokker, youl notice some similarites, with an ecception that the dr fokker has 3 wings and not two
Looks like a Nieuport 17. Not familiar with this model.
