@rob23molina #5 is my absolute favorite for all the circumstances and the importance of this game! and ofc because of the line "who's game is it? it's michael jordan's game" - plain awesome
@qwerops12345 He has ten? really? count them down for me please. He has ZERO impressive Finals games in the last two titles, he was a no-show for the Pistons loss...u get the idea. As far as Kobe putting "a stamp" on a series, I guess you have to go to last year's Phoenix series. So he has been able to dominate ONE playoff series in his career, against a team that plays no D. Bravo, what a closer.
MJ's consistency vs Kobe's during the playoffs are as close as night is to a day.
@qwerops12345 Can you take his dick out of your mouth long enough to thing. Seems like all that knob gobbling has cut off the air to your brain. Just #3 alone is better than anything kobe has. Kobe NEVER attacked the basket with the ferociousness of Jordan. That's why Jordan always seemed like a man on the court, while Kobe seems like an overgrown kid. And a kid who takes way too many bad shots.
#6 is always the standout for me, I mean against four defenders, weaving every which way in the key, all to suddenly change direction and dunk through the middle of them, seems like he can do whatever he wants in that one
#5 is just pure heart however, thats the sort of dedication and commitment he had.
I think Kobe Bryant has atleast 3 of the worst playoff performances ever. See every game the Lakers lost to the Celtics in 2008 Finals and Game 7 of the 2010 Finals. He will never be MJ
what the heck??? Where's the game winner of 1997 Finals (game 1) and 1998 Finals (game 6), and the 6 three pointers in 1st half of game 1 in 1992 finals, and 55 points against the Suns in 1993??? Those should definitely be in there, I don't care what you bump off the list.
@CR9DAGREAT hahahaahahahaha super cool joke dude.. brian is my men.. he is soo dumbass athletic pathetic athlete.. maybe a bouncer in a bar or pornstar in playboy..haha
@lileazye11 Fundamentals, shot selection, great jumper from 15-20ft. Shot selection is the key though. Something Kobe Bryant will never come to understand, something most players today don't understand. No need to do a fancy move when you can just pull up for a jumper at the top of the key. Beats running down the lane in an attempt to dunk while getting a charging call.
This list is ridiculous. These are great moments, but his BEST playoff performances? NBATV missed about ten other buzzer beaters to win games, his sick game, etc.
Hi my name is brett.d you might know me some day because I'm going to be an NBA when I'm older.I train with the high school coach and I'm 9 years old.
This video is a perfect illustration what seperates Jordan from players who played before him, with him or that are playing today. The intensity and fire he played with during playoff time is unsurpassed. Number 5 says it all. If you were there to see it you know what I mean. And anyone who replies to this "KB rlz" and was born in the mid 90's , you have no business discussing basketball until you learn your history.
Are you serious? This was dubbed "the shot." Vs Cleveland. Legend has it Collins called the play for someone else, knowing the opposition would expect Jordan. MJ, according to Sam Smith's book "The Jordan Rules", put his fist through the board and said "give me the fucking ball."
#3 will always be jordan's best. he made starks, oakley, and ewing look like fools. i just love how starks and oakley thought they had jordan corner and then BOOM out of no where jordan spins the other way and dunks on ewing's face. god i never get sick of that highlight.
@last9emperor I think that the Piston one was the best. The transaction, to be able to avoid the defense like that and spin a shot in the air with your back facing the rim is incredible. The only person that I've seen do a better similar move is Kobe. And THAT move was sick.
@pokemonrules159 Exactly. Ridiculous playoff performer. The only shooting guards from the current generation who have played at a similar high level at playoff time for a few games are Wade and Iverson. They've had some moments of great play that were way above their regular season levels. Some moments. To Jordan it was every single series. Iverson went insane the year they reached the Finals and Wade has been a terror in few series as well.
This is all you need to know about MJ: everything on that list was impressive, but they left out the switching hands against LA, the Threes and the shrug against Portland, the game winner against Utah in 97, and the last one 98, the play against NY where three Knicks slam him on a dunk attempt, he scores, then screams at Ewing while he's laying on the ground...
and there a bunch more that I can't come up with off the top of my head.
they miss some good ones for every player i've seen. magic beating the celtics with a hook shot in 85 wasn't in there... Larry Bird "There a steal by Bird!!! Underneath to DJ he lays it in!!!" wasn't there...
MJ had in his career only 1 game under 10 points which was in Cleveland and ever since then seemed like he played with a vengeance when he played there.
"Its Michael Jordan's game!" His airness of unstoppable offense is amazing, period! Jordan is thee only one who competes w/Magic in my book for "pure" greatness:) Jordan was truly great overall!! #23
call me crazy, but it seems like nbatv purposely takes out the BEST play from each of the greats and leaves it out - magic's jr. hook, bird's steal, etc...
