Down Throw does 12 damage and with good reading can set up for just about any move Snake has

if Ally's reading if off, it doesn't magically change the fact that down throw is generally Snake's best option from a throw. Ally knows that limiting MK's options to 5 is better than throwing and hoping for some kind of followup to work

From what I've heard, it's the other way around. M2K has been looking for flaws in Ally's Snake and using them to his advantage.

Does that really require "word of mouth spread" to realize. It's more than obvious every match M2K is picking Ally apart while Ally is using his same gimmick-defense gameplay at all times.

Asides from good habitual kill reactions from Ally, he has nothing against M2K by this point.

He's going to have to step it up at the next big tourney.
