Years ago when I was driving a big rig, I would tune into wls out of New Orleans. Charlie Douglas program. At 4 am he would play " It's 4 In The Morning" and later " Hello Walls" Too bad these shows are gone. Charlie out of Orleans and Ralph out of the Ville.
Listen closely to how this musical genius sings this song so differently than the original record...and how great it still sounds. He chooses different notes and his phrasing is masterful. Too bad there's not a CD of Faron's TV appearances because his live versions were always much better than the recorded ones.
faron had a song called ,,excuse my spelling ,,Imigated call or gall,,, lol,,can't remember ,,haven't heard it in yrs,,and it had a great arrangement ,,different rhythm patterns ,,if you have it ,,please post it ,,
miss you Faron, I hope you are singing to my Momma up there in Heaven, I'd love to think that, she loved you and your singing and got me to adore you too... I remember blaring the stereo with my mom to you, Patsy, Jim Reeves, Eddy Arnold, Billy Joe Royal, Gene Watson, Elvis and SO MANY others... what GREAT time... thanks Faron and RIP... love ya Sheriff...
Faron definitely had "it"-- a stage presence or something. Really great to see this. I agree his live appearances were above and beyond the records
