Luminox Colormark Chrono Watch Review

Owned an original first run luminx colormark. Only had to change the battery and band a few times. Eight years later gettting the new blackout chronograph and a black steel band. Can't wait to get it in the mail. As for the comments about the navy seals not wearing the watches. Who cares. I beat the bejesus out of mine and it still wanted more. I was an airborne ranger and I give my old luminox an honorable discharge for eight years of faithful service.can't wait for my blackout chronograph.

@LowRiderzZ Well it is just a chronograph, and I have used one a million times. You press one pusher to start and stop it, and another to reset it.

Im about to buy it but what is the 3 others inside the watch, and how does it count the seconds, minutes etc.?

@LowRiderzZ Main seconds hand on the dial counts chrono seconds. Subdials are for time second, chrono minutes, and chrono hours.

Hardlex glass crystal by Seiko is the best, but sapphire doesn't have to be thinner to still shatter. What's wrong with this design out side of it's leaking and over size is its non-standard size 23mm lugs, no reason in the world they couldn't have used 22mm. It's cute "military-chic", but that's it. Actually I'd still buy the smaller colormark 7051, it's got sensible 20mm lugs, but still I want the chrono feature.

if you didnt buy from an "authorized" dealer such as amazon or anywhere else online, then you didnt get the real deal and that is why your watches suck. This watch was specifically made to the specs of U.S. Navy Seals. They actually field tested this watch before it was released. So if its missing parts during shipping then you need to get your money back from China cuz you bought a fugazi. haa. HA. I own 3 different models of this watch. Have dived all over the world numerous times. IT WORKS

@mgbeelow These watches were not made to the specs of the Navy Seals and in fact Seals actually do not wear them. I owned one and it broke while taking it off.

Average watch, good review , Seals dont wear these , i had two of these and i dive three times a week and they all flooded. sorry but not up to scratch compared to a $ 50 G shock

I just received the blackout version and one of the luminous crystals was missing when I got it. Company is sending me a new one. Impressed with the feel and looks of this watch but so far quality control sucks.

@cod5beast15 a new watch. It was also missing one of the two keepers on the band. It was either put together very poorly or it was some first generation that the company had in their stock for a long time. The new one they are sending me they just received from Luminox so I am hoping for perfection.

Bought one. Returned it. Defective. Beautiful but questionable quality control.

Very light, felt like I was cheated for the price.

3 Seikos later I know I made the right decision.
