Vettel drovethe OLD car, the one that everyone drove until last year.

He needed to compete with past F1 drivers (as did Barrichello a few months ago).

Rowan had a faster time because the new car is a bit quicker .

IF Vettel had raced the new one, he probably could have shaved 3-5 seconds off Mr. Beans time.
