The OC has one of the best soundtrack of any tv show hands down! That said I loved this scene, remembered it by listening to the greatest hits I compiled from The OC OST cds :D

To Lindsay haters: She was probably the cutest thing to ever show up on the series. Period. I also could not stand Marissa after the first three seasons. Summer ended up being more mature in my eyes, which is funny because in the first season she was supposed to be this whiny daddys girl or whatever.

1) I know she was damaged because of the Caleb situation, but DAMN Lindsay was a straight up basketcase. Well... Marissa was too, but at least she was hot. Lindsay was gross. And annoying. And snippy.

2) I'm not as patient as Seth, so I would've probably screwed up and quit talking to Summer altogether after this scene. Remember how she acted when they went to the party to celebrate his graphic novel? She was flaky as hell in the first two seasons.

3) Zach was the epitome of a giant douchebag.

I really didn't like Marissa with Ryan, honestly, I felt it was to much fighting, pain, and heartache, for them. Liked her better with Alex, actually felt she was better, as a person and all, and I promise, it has nothing to do with my love for Olivia Wilde, at least, not so much, but seriously, I just felt like they were better together.

That's just me. And I seriously think that Alex was one of the best characters on the show, she was more intriguing, gave the show more of an interesting edge.

@foxymily me too! it bothers me that they never really focused in on that. I love the O.C., but I feel like it's seriously missing a few key aspects. It was always R&M and S&S. They almost never showed any scenes between seth/marissa & summer/ryan. They focused so much on the relationships that they forgot about the friendships, you know? Not only that but do you notice that Ryan&Seth and Marissa&Summer had never had a fight? At least, not a very significant one. &that really takes away from it.

Although we prefer Summer with Seth and Ryan with Marissa, it was good of the both of them to not interrupt those moments that they were having with other people. Zach and Lindsay were stable people who seemed to be a good match for Summer & Ryan and well Marissa and Seth couldn't compete with that at that point, altough I love them both. Either way, nothing to feel bad about because Summer ends up wit Seth and well Marissa & Ryan were soulmates although they didn't have their happy ending.

This show should have done the swap thing, hooking up Seth with Marissa and Ryan with Summer, or especially after Marissa died. Ryan and Summer could have sought comfort over losing Marissa by sharing their pain with one another, and then hooking up. The show didn't have to end when it did. Stupid writers.
