  • Thanks for the introduction. I have no experience with it but will have to look into it. I searched for jQuery using Bing and your video popped up as the first video. After about 10 minutes into the video I clicked the Subscribe Button. I have used YouTube for 5 years, but I have only clicked the subscribe-button 12 times, so I am rather selective. I want you to know that you have a good impact on people all over the world enriching their lives. I happen to sit near Seattle WA. ///johan

  • Hi, I've done Actionscripts, but I know nothing of Javascript. I am now working with Dreamweaver to make a Web page to sell my product. I am intrigued by jQuery. I enjoyed this video and am finally starting to understand it's application. Do you have a followup video on how to now create a good script.js and apply some effect (ie accordion), using the UI to add content to a web page? Thanks for the help... good instruction. USA.

  • Thank you! Very helpful!

  • I agree with you guys that are asking that Tom Rogers be respected. That's right...he should be respected! In spite of his celebral palsy, he is an incredibly intelligent guy. His video content is awesome. Thumbs Up to Tom and all those that have shown respect for him and his desire to contribute to the body of knowledge. Tom is British and hence his accent.

  • Exactly what I needed to get started. Keep up the good work!

  • Good Work, keep going :)

  • Hi! I'm Hungarian, and I'm beginner in english, but i think i even speak better than you, sorry. BUT returning to your video, it's really interesting and useful. Thanks.

  • @vitaliyplay hey this guy have some health problem that's why he cant speak properly and he is on Wheel chair i seen HIM < i let u know he is a lot smart then u .... HUNGARY

So Shut the F* Up ,Give Him Some Respect ...

  • @apnaconstruction And how much respect want for him, from me? I gave him a thanks for this video. So what are we speaking about?

  • good work. the content is excellent.

Your voice does cause some issues BUT there is a way you can improve that for your tutorials (requires a great deal more work, but then anyone who is different all ready knows that working harder just to get the same is just what we have to deal with). Here is the trick. record your video exactly the same. when done break down the video into sections with easy pauses. then rerecord each voice section bit by bit and repeat till it sounds good

    slow and tedious

  • thank you that helped a lot! nice video tut!

  • I'm pretty sure that he can't help his voice, so have some respect people. It's the content that counts. If you have a problem, then don't comment and keep it to yourself. Great video, well done.

  • Excellent work tomrogers. That was concise, comprehensive and nicely paced. I'm a final year uni student dabbling in jQuery and found this really useful and cleared up a few doubts.

Keep up the good work, and don't forget, it's people contributing their time and effort in the way you have that makes the web such a worthwhile place. :->

  • Hahaha I had to drink 5 beers just begin to understand you. How many did you have?

  • P.S. good overview though

  • Mr FuckY0urRegistration, you are a fu#@ing idiot. good work tom. great video.

  • its tough listening to your video.
