if they would make an "r-types universe" where you flew around a fully custmoizable r series vessel in a massive galaxy invading planets from other players and shit of that nature they could go the strategy/mmo angle without taking out the twitch based arcade action that got them their entire fan base in the first place.

let some guys team up and play the sim city and starcraft sides of the game for me while i scout the next system for hostiles, its a win/win/win !

I really love strategy games (though I suck at them), and R-Type I'm fair at it, so this game turned out to be perfect for me!

It gets really freaking hard by the time you get to the higher levels, I hear.

Still trying to get my R-Types I and II downloads to get onto me PSP. Stupid cable.
