To me the Civic Hybrid wins. It has much less combined horsepower and torque compared to the Prius. Its lap time is quicker and it wins the reverse drag race :]!!!

I contest these results I think there are certain variables involved with Hybrids that they did not account for or at least they didnt say they did.

In the Civic the state of the IMA battery pack has a lot to do with how fast it will be off of the line (more than you'd think). I've been told that the prius isnt good with quick starts so I dont see how the prius beat it in the drag. That's crap.

Also, on interstate straightaways Ive gotten my civic hybrid up to 113 (top speed) so itll do it.

@italian1701 i agree, if the battery is not at a decent charge good luck trying to get the thing to move, but if fully charged it will take off surprisingly quick. i have also it 113 but i won't take it over 85 as the tires don't fair well.
