I will never regret owning my 1984 944. It's been my daily driver for 3 years and I still find myself just standing in the driveway looking at it. I often wonder if I'm the only one who does that. I bobbed the front bumper,replaced the rear bumper with a fiberglass panel and added box rocker panels. It looks fast just sitting still. A true head-turner and it's 26 years old. A timeless style and a joy to drive.

The 944 did .90 lateral G's in the 80's. Beat the staple 911 at .86G's, the 928, the Ferrari 288 GTO, Testarossa, and even the mighty Lamborghini Countach 5000S.
