its not bad, but you might want to consider adding some more color levels some areas are more 'darker' than others... if you know what i mean... and some more contrast... keep up the good work ^^

For your outlines, do you ink them on paper first or do you do it on the program? I've always been confused about that.

There should be 3 layers.

the first is a blank bg

the next one is your line art.

and the third is your coloring. You make a new layer for each thing Ie skin, hair, eyes & clothes

but after you make the skin coloring layer, you drag and drop it BETWEEN the bg layer and the lineart layer.
