I was in tear when I see this movie in french and I was ten, but I can said that. That was worse when I see it in American I 35.But this movie remains one of my preferred.
gdi - im out of tissues! :\ i was 8 when i saw this in the theatre - not a dry eye in the house. i remember just hearing people crying hard - alot of nose blowing - too bad tv sitcoms got him before a great movie director did. and yea, the lion king def used this in the simba/mufasa scene
This is the performance of a born actor. Rick Schroeder is a talented Thespian, and he was wasted on silly sitcoms in the 80's, but even then silver spoons was a paycheck and earned him additional acting credentials. He has got skills for pulling you into a story even at this age. If the right director got with him Spielberg, Cameron, Andrew Vajna, he could join the ranks of the likes of Harrison Ford if given half a chance. He is more than the sum of the parts you've seen.
Yeah at first I was mad that she came back after she had walked out on him and his father, but when his dad ended up dying after the fight, it was good that she was there. I love this movie!
Yeah I remember seeing this and OMG! He had me crying wuith him! That is the best cry scene I have ever seen done by a child actor and for him to be so little back then too! In some scenes it really did look like real tears his eyes were red and you could see his eyes water up and then the tears fall. He was a good little actor! :)
They were real tears he said that was one of his talent was that he could cry and they didn't have to give him anything to make him cry all he had to do was think of something really sad. Like his grandma had died. that what he said on the DVD.
