I do like the taste of meat but i will only eat it if you can prove that it is 100% organic farmed so its lived a happy life and was humanley killed and then yes i would eat meat and with eggs or milk the same really i on't eat eggs that say they are organic from a supermarket because you cannot trust anyone these days
I dislike this documentary because I believe it is a ignorant, close minded approach to the meat industry. I for one am hugely disappointed and against our industrialized food system, and refuse to eat any type of meat that is not organic or sold in a whole foods type market. Going veg isnt necessarily the best option at all for saving animals and the planet. Its about organics!

As long as humans have been alive, there has always been a consumption of meat. I'm not going to argue against the fact that veganism is all for the welfare of animals, but I do find documentaries like this very deceiving and excessively twist the truth. I'm just trying to defend that its not JUST about NOT eating meat, and if you do so what? Its all about WHAT to eat. A vegetarian take meat out of their diet, but continues to eat foods that contain GMO's, or eat produce thats been sprayed with pesticides or ethylene gas. I think eating local and organic is just a good step for those who dont want to take meat out of the diet.

I am vegetarian, and an animal lover, I have worked at no-kill shelters, and this is what I have to say about this video. Very heavy-handed and makes bold statements that I doubt can be backed up with facts. I am vegetarian, and an animal lover, I have worked at no-kill shelters, and this is what I have to say about this video. Very heavy-handed and makes bold statements that I doubt can be backed up with facts. Sorry, but I would much rather see well-reasoned arguments backed by facts, not this emotional festival of sad music and images, accompanied by unverified statements meant to lead us to believe no animal research has ever benefitted mankind, etc.

If everything that happened in Earthlings happened to people, it would be an R rated horror movie. The things that go on in laboratories, factory farms, puppy farms, fur farms etc are the things of my worst nightmares. I would never wish this upon even my worst enemies... so why do we do it to the most innocent creatures that walk this Earth? All I can feel is shame for the human race...

Guess what? I feel no shame at all watching those killing/experiment scenes. We are not the most structually perfect species. We've got no claws, no fur, no quad-chamber stomach and no fin and such, but we've got these two delicate hands and the intelligence to use them. our ancestors survived those millions of years being on lower levels of the food chain. dare i say lots of lives in our species were lost so we could climb up to the top. THIS IS OUR TIME.

Animals become numbers, not beings or individuals. People don't have to kill to eat anymore, they drive cars to shops and buy fleshy tissue wrapped in plastic. The world has been hidden from the truth, that is why earthlings needs to be shown everywhere, to everyone.

@aznscyth population owns 30-40%+ of the wealth that is just ridiculous. That is the same as saying 40 out of 100 people work for 1 person, which is hardly a free, democratic society. Why should a ceo get paid $110 million when they could survive perfectly fine on $10 million and the rest of the money goes towards better wages for the workers etc..

I wouldn't use the word "hate," because there are some honorable actions that they have performed, but I have knowledge about PETA that greatly disturbs me, such as their practice of euthanizing perfectly healthy dogs and cats. However, there are plenty of wonderful, non-hypocritical "animal rights" organizations out there to support, and I do.

It's a shame that there weren't any concrete examples about that in the video. You should make a quick search on the web on Thalidomide for instance or Phenformin (there are dozens of examples). See how they were deemed safe by vivisection and how they caused thousands of human deaths.
So PLEASE, before you post comments like "if it wasn't for animal testing...humans woudln't be the same" at least get informed about the real situation!
