  • what do you guys recommend as a post workout supplement

  • do you know of any lycopene supplements derived from fruits? i know its found in the flesh of watermelon and the fresh juice of tomatoes. Lycopene is an anti-ox. side note on that cancer fighting blip.

  • @MrHolyshasta to our knowledge most of the lycopene on the market and what we sell is derived from tomatoes (which are a fruit). Yes it is very beneficial for prostate health especially. Hope this helps.

  • Can you guys do a review on "Dymatize Elite XT"...?!

They claimed to be a timed releasing protein.. is that really the case...!?

  • @Athrun000 that's really just a fancy way of saying it has whey, egg, and casein protein each of which digests at different rates. Hope this answers your query.

  • TUBS 'O' DRUGS

  • i'm skeptical of any whey that looks like it's sitting in a paint bucket with a supplement company label slapped on it.. after watching Bigger, Faster, Stronger you just kinda have to wonder what's really in this shit, who made it, whether it was made with strict sanitary standards, etc.

  • @ruin3r that is a reasonable concern. Its always good to look and see if the product was manufactured in a GMP approved facility. Nature's Best is a large company w/ far too much to lose doing stupid things as far as manufacturing. Hope this helps.

  • I have stopped taking ON's Opti-Men Multi vitamin because It turns my urine a bright green color. I see this as the vitamins just passing through my body and not doing what they are supposed to. Is this correct?

  • @portahouse156 somewhat, many isolate vitamins are mega dosed w/ water soluble vitamins to ensure one gets enough and the excess will be excreted in urine. We really like what companies like Garden of Life are doing with the use of fermented, whole food vitamins as opposed to isolates. You will notice this does not happen with them. Currently we know they are at least as good as isolated vitamins and have some promise that the research will demonstrate them to be more effective. Hope this helps.

  • subscribed !!

  • @baozytools thank you for subscribing.

  • Sucralose is toxic to the body.

  • @Viktir666 there's a lot of hyperbole on the web regarding artificial sweeteners. It is practical to be concerned with safety of artificial sweeteners as a long term concern. However the research on sucralose even at very high doses has been demonstrated to be safe in humans. That being said if it makes you more comfortable avoiding or limiting the amount you take in, it is reasonable as a long term concern. Hope this helps.

  • @BestPriceNutrition Hell I don't even drink tap water LOL. I also try my hardest to avoid high fructose corn syrup (really hard to avoid that one because almost everyone puts it in their products). There's even high fructose corn syrup in ketchup now. I avoid aspartame, sucralose, and MSG. MSG is garbage and should be illegal to add to food against your will. I'm not a crazy health nut, I just try to avoid our man-made garbage and return to our ancestor's diets of actual food not from a lab.

  • @Viktir666 we just did pretty long video on what the Paleo diet means etc... you may find it interesting and it should be posted in the next couple of days.

  • u guys study sports nutrition?

  • @ojay67 we both have a Bachelors in science (Biology and BioChem). Our knowledge on sports nutrition is from time spent in the industry for 17+ years between the two of us. Thanks for watching.

  • What happened to your fancy graphics and when are doing the 3 out of 4 stars for your products?

  • @AntonSlizzardhands budget is killing us, JK. We will have to ask our video guy Jeff about the graphics.

  • guys, I just wanted to thank you for the great reviews. I came across a similar approach from a different site and your reviews are way more valuable than the competition. what makes you different is your scientific approach, based on peer reviewed research. Keep up the great work.

Also a while ago, i posted a request regarding reviewing the best Testosterone boosters in the market and highly appreciate it if you can arrange it.

  • @xorencryption thank you for the kind words. If you have any questions on these products feel free to PM us. As of right now the testosterone boosting ingredients available are found wanting since the bans of pro hormones. Most companies still making pro hormones are looking to make a quick buck and likely have little to lose, so we recommend avoiding them. There are a couple natural ingredients that look promising but still need more evidence demonstrating effectiveness in humans.

  • Thanks for the review. i've been using the zero carb isopure for about 2 years and had now idea about its antioxidant and other immune system boosting properties.

  • @Cbejar13 yes whey has those properties, they are much more pronounced in a CFM or microfiltered whey protein isolate (some of which is in Isopure) as the subfractions are not denatured. Thank you for watching.

  • what is the best bcaa? i prefer caps to a powder. price is also a factor ;)

  • @BearGrylls123100 if you are not on a low calorie diet you really don't need to supplement with them as they alone can not build muscle. If you are on a low calorie diet, Scivation Xtend is very popular and its a powder. Hope this helps.

  • @nisseshem yes it ran a bit long as we tried to cover the MRP, protein, and weight gainer. Thanks for watching.

  • great video guys!!!

    full of good info!!!

by the way i'm a pharmacist and here in Egypt we sell supplements in pharmacies

and sometime i'm asked questions i don't know the answer to

i just watch your videos, then>>>>>BOOM!!! i become an expert

    :-)))

  • @ebsshassan that's great, glad we can help. Thank you for watching.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong. Isn't Maltodextrin a complex carb?? It contains "glucose polymers", linked sugar compounds that are easier for the body to assimilate and use. Glucose polymers are metabolized at a slow, steady rate. However I also read that it has a high GI. So I'm a bit confused. I am now mixing WPI + creatine + dextrose + maltodextrin in my PWO. Are the last 2 items the same thing? Can take 1 away?

  • @ybbolb What I'm trying to say is that if it's slow to break down, it should not cause an insulin spike, thus low GI??

  • @ybbolb no it actually breaks down very quickly due to the weak hydrogen bonds and therefore has a high glycemic index, in other words it does not act in the body like other polysaccharides (or sugars for that matter as table sugar- sucose has a GI of 65). It is only absorbed slightly slower than dextrose. The number of saccharides in the chain can be anywhere from 2-20. Combining the two is good as it pertains to osmolarity and gastric emptying. Does this help?

  • @BestPriceNutrition Yes!! You guys have been a great help!! Thank you so much!! :-)

  • @ybbolb nice, glad we were able help.

  • @ybbolb technically it is as it is a polysaccharide (composed of weak bonds) however it still has a glycemic index on par with glucose. They are not the same as dextrose is a monosaccharide. So taking them together post workout is fine. Hope this helps.

  • @BestPriceNutrition Thank you for the prompt reply!! You guys are great!!

Which that it still spikes your blood sugar level? I'm taking it based on the understanding that it is slow digesting, thus able to give me a slow steady supply of carbs and that it will not all get into my bloodstream too rapidly causing "unnecessary" insulin spikes.

  • @BestPriceNutrition Thankyou, its not been even a week since I made this request. :)

  • @nikhilsrl thank you for watching.
