  • If you do not have Eucharistic Adoration in your church do start up a petition within your church requesting that your pastor make it so. Too many of our churches are falling away because less and less love is given to Jesus's Real Presence in the Eucharist. The Eucharist is the core of our faith, without the Eucharist we give up our call to be Catholics. the Eucharist binds us all as one body in Christ, if we give this up we will be scattered and confused

  • The Eucharist is Christ Himself who is the fuel for the flame of the Holy Spirit whom dwells within the Baptized. You are WHOM you consume.

  • I Love this video!!!

Thank you and God bless +++

  • I love receiving communion so much that it's become my favorite sacrament.

  • I AM A WITNESS!!!!! Thanks Jesus!!!!AMDG

  • This is awesome. The Eucharist is the center of my life. This video brought tears to my eyes and warmth to my heart and soul.Keep up the work of Christ. Jane

  • I LOVE IT MAY GOD KEEEP U :)))))

  • Praise to you Lord, Jesus Christ, for the gift of the Eucharist. When we eat the Eucharist the Lord of the universe dwells within our being. Never receive him without having confessed your sins before him in the Sacrament of Confession. He deserves utmost reverence.

  • If the Eucharist IS Jesus

    and

    Jesus IS God,

    then

The Eucharist must be the CENTRE of the Universe.

  • @Jhyzone, wow, you are smart. Yes, you have come to the correct conclusion. I hope you were not being facetious. For a Catholic who is devout, the Eucharist is the Source, Center and Summit of his/her life. Our Eucharistic Lord is right here with us (Emmanuel) in every Tabernacle of every Catholic Church. You could be with Him right now just by visiting a Catholic Church. He wants us so badly that He stayed with us just as He promised in the Holy Bible! So come visit Him! :)

  • @1Hope4All This wasn't my own idea. It was from a Priest who delivered a talk on the Eucharist being the Centre of the Universe. I thought I'd share it on YouTube as it is relevant to this video :) I am starting to understand the Catholic Church and deepening my Faith in God.

I like Blessed Mother Teresa quote as well, "My TV is the Tabernacle"

Every time I am at the Church I am immediately drawn at the Presence of our Lord in the tabernacle. Its like a very strong force of attraction

  • wonderful vid especially in moments of discomfiture it helps mostly.thanks for posting

  • I presume too many folks read the Bible literally until they reach John 6 and then they quit...sad that. All Hail the Risen Christ hidden under the appearance of the bread and wine within the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar!

  • wow a beautiful song Love u Jesus my father my blessed Mother my mother thank u for answered prayer

  • how refreshing

  • @tario26 lISTEN TO THEIR READINGS. SOME OF HIS DISCIPLES LEFT. HE DIDN'T SAY WAIT A MINUTE GUYS, I WAS JUST KIDDING. IF YOU WILL GET A BOOK ON THE EARLY CHURCH FATHERS, READ THE HISTORY OF THE CHURCH. IRANEUS, JUSTIN MARTYR, CLEMENT AND POLYCARP, WHO KNEW JOHN. THEY BELIEVED THIS ALSO YOU EVANGELICALS TAKE EVERYTHING ELSE LITTERALY BUT THIS PASSAGE. READ SCOTT HAHN, A PRESBYTERIAN, OR ALEX JONES A PENTECOSTAL BOTH MINISTERS WHO READ HISTORY OF THE CHURCH AND TURNED CATHOLIC. THEY BELIEVED!.

  • We've made some videos about the Eucharist as well - may our Lord never be underestimated! If you're looking for something short and inspiring, check out our channel.

  • @tario26 You are right. The doctrine of the eucharist was first dogmatized at the 4th Latern Council in1215. Jesus is speaking metaphorically in John 6. @Matt23:45, he calls his religious critics "a brood of vipers" so would Catholics then believe that a literal swarm of snakes was in attendance? Speaking of the religious pros who hated him, he tells his disciples:"let them alone;they are blind guides of the blind" More metaphoric speech to confuse the Catholics (and many Prots!)

  • @MrHoopler, you don't listen do you? Watch the video again and read my replies to tario. If Jesus was speaking metaphorically He would've stopped those people who walked away and said, "no wait, come back! I didn't mean it literally, I was only speaking metaphorically!" But no, He did not stop them because He knew that those people understood what Jesus meant. He meant it literally in the form of Bread. God humbled Himself to be with us in every Tabernacle in all the Catholic Churches.

  • @1Hope4All you forgot to explain about the 2 greek translations of "eat" in the gospel which is trogein and phagein. Phagein is how we normally eat but trogein is a literal "eating" which is "to gnaw", "gnash with you teeth", "to consume". Let them watch Father Barron comments on the Eucharist to have a better understanding behind this truth. /watch?v=bJjW3LXuHzo.

  • @rytsign69, I didn't forget to explain anything. This is not me explaining. This is Donna Cori Gibson. And she explained about that; not everything you said but it's there. Please watch and listen to the whole video again.

  • @1Hope4All ah ok, thanks. GOD Bless and keep defending the faith.

  • We adore thee O Christ, and we praise thee because by thy Holy Cross thou hast redemmed the world. Amen, Amen. JESUS I TRUST IN YOU, MY PRECIOUS JESUS FORGIVE THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW THE WAY. AMEN

    Pax Christi +++

    Ave Maria + + +

  • "For not as common bread nor common drink do we receive these; but since Jesus Christ our Saviour was made incarnate by the word of God and had both flesh and blood for our salvation, so too, as we have been taught, the food which has been made into the Eucharist by the Eucharistic prayer set down by him, and by the change of which our blood and flesh is nurtured, is both the flesh and the blood of that incarnated Jesus" (First Apology 66:1-20 [A.D. 148]). - St Justyn - early church father .

  • My problem is i study to many at the same time. But you might be right.Ive been to so many Masses this year

  • @tario26, We are to eat of Him lest we die! He mentions it 7 times so imbeciles like you would understand. But it's more important to believe than to understand. The people who walked away in John 666 understood clearly what Jesus meant. But they did not have faith.

Peter had faith! John 6:68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, 69 and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God." (ESV)

  • @tario26: John 6:66 (note the 666) many walked away when they knew what Jesus meant; to eat His Flesh and drink His Blood. Jesus did NOT stop them to say, "wait, hold on! I did not mean to that you should eat my Flesh. I only meant for you to read the bible!" There was no bible back then. And Jesus DID mean to eat His Flesh. He said His Flesh is real food and His Blood is real drink.

  • Thanks for the video.Twenty 2 years ago i had the chance to be apart of this and i did not come to the church now i want to come but im fighting between two churches i love. The roman catholic church and the eastern orthodox church.I hate this. Please pray for me.

  • @umaara100, The Roman Catholic Church is THEE ONE! The One True Body of Christ welcomes you and wants you to be a member of the Church. =)

  • Glad that Catholics and Orthodox despite all their mutual schisms can still share communion together.

  • If im not a Christian and i would like to eat of the body of christ and drink his blood during mass .And i would like to.Why would i not be allowed. And why dose it take months for person who wants to be baptished to be baptished

  • @umaara100, you have to go through teaching of the faith first before becoming Cathoilc. It is also a time of prayer before making your final decision. The reason why you cannot receive is because you are not in union with all other Catholics. We take this very seriously.

  • @umaara100 Dear umaara100, to partake of Communion with Catholic Christians is to proclaim that you believe as they do. I hope that one day you will believe in Jesus, and become His follower in the Catholic Church because I love Jesus and believe He loves you, and because I believe the best way to grow in His love is by being a Catholic Christian. Baptism takes so long because the Church wants to make sure you understand what baptism means and does. Have you requested baptism?

  • @umaara100 In the Holy Name and Blood of Jesus you MUST renounce your wiccan beliefs before you could worthily receive the Precious Body of Our Lord Jesus Christ. If you would, ask forgiveness from Jesus for all your sins, call the local Biship and tell him of your desire to live for Jesus, be baptized, recieve Jesus into your heart, there are many who would gladly aid you to run into the loving embrace Of Jesus, then recieve Him bodily, you would have peace that flows like a river.HEluvsU!!!

  • @umaara100 you re not a christian but u want to receive the body/blood of christ. if you re not a christian why you would like to... for u it s just like any other bread and any wine. 1 Corinthians 11:27 Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

  • @umaara100 Not only that, but a Catholic cannot be in a state of mortal sin upon receiving Communion. If one were to recieve Holy Communion in mortal sin, they commit sacrilege; another grave sin.

Sins are to be forgiven by God, through the Sacrament of Penance.

Also, one must fast to partake in Holy Communion. No food or drink, one hour before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

If these conditions are met, one may receive the Blessed Sacrament.

I hope this helps. God love you. :)

  • @1Hope4All No, what does "shake the dust off your sandals" mean?

  • @joskam092, Matthew 10:12-14 "As you enter the house, greet it. And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town."

  • @joskam092 When Jesus told them to shake the dust off their feet, He meant that the disciples were to literally shake the dust of that house/town from off their feet, in the presence of the household/townsfolk. It was symbolic and meant that the disciples had brought good news to that house/town, but the people refused to hear it. The responsibility for refusing to hear the truth lay on the household/townsfolk, and the disciples would not even carry the dirt of that house/town on their shoes.

  • @1hope4all what does that mean?

  • @joskam092, what does what mean? The "1Hope4All" name that I use?

  • As a non-Christian, I just have to say that the Holy Eucharist is a much cooler concept than the Protestant alternative.

  • @ohlordbabyjesus, Absolutely!!!

  • @ohlordbabyjesus Yeah, and the Gospel actually makes sense, with the Catholic interpretation.

Also, it's interesting to note that Muslims usually say that Christians put up barriers between themselves and God, whether it be Christ or Mary. Muslims say that in Islam, one can just go directly to God. But, would eating the flesh and drinking the blood of God, Himself, seem like Catholics are putting up barriers between themselves and the Creator?

  • Fellow Catholics on this comment board, if a Protestant comes and denies the Eucharist after watching this video, then let them go. Christ himself let the people walk away because he knew they couldn't believe him. So let them walk, but pray for them also. Do not fight them, but love them. "Offer no resistance to one who does evil to you."

  • @joskam092, shake the dust off your sandals! Peace I leave, but it is not returned.

  • They abstain from the Eucharist and from times of prayer because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the flesh of our savior - Jesus Christ which suffered for our sins and which the father in his goodness raised. Those who oppose this gift of god with their disputes will die.(St Ignatius - Letter to the Smyrnaeans 7:1)

  • John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven:if any one eats of this bread, he will live forever and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh."

    53 So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you;

  • @MrDIBBLY But We need to understand its deeper inner meaning and not just take it literally!

  • First notice: on the cross Jesus emptied himself of His Divine POWER: "HE HUMBLED HIMSELF AND BECAME OBEDIENT UNTO DEATH, EVEN ON A CROSS" (PHILIP 2:8). but during the Last Supper Jesus makes a manifestation of HIS DIVINE POWER: (Lk 22:19). By HIS WORD of blessing on the bread He fulfills what He said in The parable of The Good Shepherd "I HAVE POWER TO LAY MY LIFE DOWN" (JOHN 10:18). So, in the last Supper, when He holds the bread, His hands have Divne Power, on the cross His hands have nails.

  • m I am Lutheran and Martin Luther taught that we receive the true body and blood of Christ in Holy Communion, that He is truly present, not in a spiritual way or in our minds as a remembrance but in a physical way, just as He was incarnated in flesh at His birth and bodily raised from the dead. Many Anglicans believe this as well. Jesus said "this is my body...this is my blood" and Martin Luther said "is" means "is". In it, Jesus gives us forgiveness, grace and eternal life and keeps us in Him.

  • it never ceases to amaze how much non-catholics "know" about the Catholic faith. I have had arguements with non catholics insisting that I worshipped Mary and that Catholicism is NOT biblical or Christian. That i worshipped statues and holy water and that I was going to hell for praying to and worshipping saints. The Catholic faith is a GIFT that only certain people posess and truly understand. It makes me sad sometiems seeing people on such narrow paths of what they think Christianity is.

  • Thanks for the video and reminding us of the presence of Our Lord in the Eucharist.

Nee a miracle very badly, see willann54 Miracle.

  • Jesus you are allways in my heart i pray to you my GOD for all my family and friends

and all the sick that is calling you for your help , thank you JESUS remenber me.

  • Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Catholics don't take things out of context as every other faith does. Trace the roots of your faith and see where you end up. Quit taking out of context and the truth will show, once a person discovers the true beauty of the true presence one will be truly blessed and sad that they have done without for so long. God Bless and enjoy this truly beautiful season of our Lord and father.

  • Being a catholic is truly a gift from God

Glory to Jesus in the Eucharist !!!!

  • When i'm in the greatest need of God, or his presence, and his all, his mighty power, i go to adoration. And stand in the presence of the Eucharist, and i can feel answers to my prayers (in my heart, and mind) i feel peace and transformation. It is the Son physically present, the Father and the holy spirit inundating my heart.

  • Thank you I'm going to share with my 7th graders - it's so important to understand what Jesus said "Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood" it's so very clear. Thank you again!

  • Just say no to Rome and its Eucharistic meal. The idea that Jesus is "truly present" in the Eucharist is radical - and un-Christian. That's why Catholics are Catholic. They are not Christian.

  • @stinkygeorgia1, I am a Christian!!!! You have no idea what it is to be a TRUE Christian. Watch and pay attention to the video.

  • @stinkygeorgia1 She just recited the WORDS of Jesus Christ. The fact that you do not belive is to your own detriment. Ask God to Open up your Heart and Know the Truth. Unless you know, read, and study the True Faith, the Catholic Faith that Christ birthed on earth with his One Church, you will will Never have All the facts in which you can make a reasonable assessment of All the facts..Pray and See.

  • @stinkygeorgia1 you dont know anything about early christianity, all the early christians wrote and believed that Jesus was in the eucharist infact St.Ignatius wrote in his epistle "They abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the flesh of our Savior Jesus Christ, flesh which suffered for our sins and which that Father, in his goodness, raised up again. They who deny the gift of God are perishing in their disputes"

  • @stinkygeorgia1 pax tecum

  • Thank you for the video, it's very needed by the comments you are getting.

@stinkygeorgia1 Are you afraid to believe Our Lord? He told the apostles to "forgive sins" so who exactly were they supposed to forgive if not other men....He said " my flesh is REAL food, my blood REAL drink" and please explain if you can why you do not believe him? Maybe because "It is a hard saying".....they will know you by your love, my friend in Christ.

  • @stinkygeorgia1 Just say no your denomination's headquarters and its symbolic Lord's supper meal. The idea that Jesus "isn't trully present" in the Eucharist is a novelty and un-Christian. That's why Protestants are called Protestant. They are not Christian...Sorry, I hope now you see how obnoxious your comment is.

I used to reject Catholic teaching across the board. I read John 6 and 1 Cor. 11 and I came to the belief that the Catholic view is most faithful to the Scripture. God bless you!

  • @stinkygeorgia1

LoL. I don't know what denomination you're from, but If you're a Lutheran, whose teachings are you getting, Jesus' or Martin Luther's? If you're a Lutheran, you're a Martin, not Christian. Protestants are followers of their religious leaders, not Jesus. Remember, St. Peter was the first one who started Eucharistic ritual, following Jesus' orders. Read and study more about Christianity. Christianity starts with Jesus' flesh and blood.

  • @stinkygeorgia1 For one thousand five hundred years all Christians believed this. Only after the Protestant Reformation was this basic Universal teaching disdained as it was when Jesus first told people what He was going to do. You need to read the Church Fathers.

  • Catholics need to read their Bible and stop believing everything that is being taught to you by these false teachers. The blood and body of Christ was NOT meant to be taken literally. IF it was, Jesus would have cut his own body and bled in front of the disciples and they all would have left the room, I am sure. He said to "do this in remembrance of Me": Look it up yourself: Luke 22:19 and again its mentioned in 1 Cor. 11:25 and 1 Cor. 11:24. These blood things are NOT from God. Read it.

  • @TheProducerDirector, Jesus did that on the Cross for us. But before He even bled on the cross He offered Himself to us in the Last Supper as Bread & Wine. Watch the video again and PAY ATTENTION this time. Watch the movie, The Passion of the Christ and pay attention when Jesus is sitting at the Last Supper with His Apostles. Open your Heart & mind to the Holy Spirit.

  • @TheProducerDirector, LISTEN TO THE VIDEO AGAIN PLEASE. This time OPEN your heart and OPEN your mind. Allow the Holy Spirit to motivate you. Pray before watching this video please.

  • @TheProducerDirector The Church came before the Bible. The (Catholic) Church gave us the Bible. I have a question for you... what is the "this" that we are supposed to do in remembrance of Him? (I am Catholic and I have devoured the entire Bible. I love the Word of God) Peace

  • @LifelongCamper, wow, I bet it tasted so good!! Just like Jesus said it would. The Word AND His Flesh we have. We are so fortunate to have both! Just like Jesus said we should have. ;-)

  • @TheProducerDirector

You are interpreting the Holy Bible on your own like all Protestants do. It is not good for your soul if you're a true Christian. You have no capacity to understand Jesus (God)' intention of giving out his flesh and blood through bread and wine.

  • Jesus was born in the city that was called "The House of Bread" (Bethlehem), in a place where we keep the animals we eventually eat (stable) and upon birth He was placed on the place where the food of animals was placed (manger).

    Amazing coincidence, isn't it? ^___^

  • @nuntym, yes SO Amazing that we all know it is NOT a coincidence; no such thing. :)

  • I really enjoyed the information and your message is very clear that Jesus is really present in the eucharisty, which makes eucharisty holy and attending sunday service important for catholics. Thank you Sandy! God bless you!

  • @melodygani, if you have the gift of Faith and you believe that Jesus is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, then you also can receive Jesus. Just come Home to the Catholic Church and you can also be with Jesus truly present in the Holy Eucharist.

  • @1Hope4All Yes I am still a Catholic who goes to Holy Eucharist every week because I feel His presence there. Thanks for sharing. :)

  • what's the title of the song? and who sang it originally, or is it you who sang it originally?

  • @donnajimenez, all the info is posted in the info section. ;) God bless

  • I like the song...how can I download it?

  • Dear Gloria,U a relay blessed by God.something a clergy should do !it is very sad

most of our christian s do not realize the power of the Eucharist and the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.i have sat so many denominations but only in the catholic church i felt the presence of Jesus through the Eucharist.God be with u all ! My prayers for all of u

  • I have a problem, i REALLY want to take part in communion or the Eucharist every Sunday or on a daily basis but i can't do it at the catholic church as they have conflicting theologies with God's word + they want me to take classes and get baptized in their church in order for me to participate in the Eucharist and Protestant churches only perform a communion once a month that i don't consider a proper communion, what should i do? Should i look for Orthodox churches?

  • @bigboyburnsy I understand your problem. Many of us who are coming from a Protestant background have trouble with understanding some Church teachings. I may be able to help answer some of your questions. Please feel free to PM me. I'm in the process of converting myself, and I will probably either come into the Church this Easter, or next Easter. I still have some questions about Church authority that need to be resolved first.

  • @LouisvilleTorn8o, any question you may have on Church authority, please feel free to PM me. I can answer your burning questions. You can also go to Catholic.com and go to their forums. I have many of my own posts there about authority. I'm "AlegreFe" over at the Catholic forums.

  • @1Hope4All Hi Sandy. I tried to send you a PM, but it wouldn't let me because you have friend lock enabled. I sent you a friend invitation the other day, so please check your inbox. Thanks.

  • @LouisvilleTorn8o, you can now send me a PM. :)

  • @bigboyburnsy "i can't do it at the catholic church as they have conflicting theologies with God's word"

On the contrary, there is not a single Catholic doctrine that conflicts with the Bible and there is not a single Bible verse that conflicts with Catholic doctrine. Why would there be, it's a Catholic Book?

If something did conflict with our teachings, the Church would have determined that it was not inspired, and would not have included it in the canon.

    Please provide an example.

  • @bigboyburnsy

"I have a problem, i REALLY want to take part in communion or the Eucharist every Sunday or on a daily basis but i can't do it at the catholic church as they have conflicting theologies with God's word "

    conflicting theologies like ?

  • @bigboyburnsy, if you want to partake in the Eucharist, the ONLY place you can do that IS The Catholic Church. You make it sound as if you can do it at whatever church you agree with and that is not possible. Only a Priest can consecrate a host so it is turned into the True Body Blood Soul & Divinity of Jesus Christ. So if you want to partake in Jesus, you can only do it in the Catholic Church.

  • @1Hope4All I've been told by my cousins catholic priest that i could partake in communion if i were in a bible study type setting with other believers without a priest present but he said it would NOT be the true blood and flesh of Christ, he said it would be more of a remembrance or memorial of what Jesus Christ did at the last supper, is this true? It seems to make sense i just wanted to make sure with you. He told me the true blood and true flesh MUST be consecrated by an ordained priest

  • @bigboyburnsy, first off, are YOU Catholic? If you are Catholic, then all you have to do is go to Confession then go to Mass and partake in Holy Communion. It WILL be the True Presence of Jesus Christ. If you are NOT Catholic, then you MUST become a Catholic by being Confirmed by a Catholic Bishop or a Catholic Priest who has permission by the Bishop to Confirm you in the faith. Then you can fully partake in the Eucharist.

  • @bigboyburnsy, I can't help but laugh at what that priest said. There are many "liberal" Catholic Parishes in the United States and it's very sad. It sounds as if the bible study people would get together and have bread & wine with some cheese or something, LoL. Sorry but that's what it sounds like. Why even bother. We ONLY do that at MASS and it's the TRUE Presence of Jesus. No cheese & crackers at Mass. ;) Just the Body, Blood, Soul & Divinity of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.

  • @bigboyburnsy, There are NO "conflicting theologies" in the Catholic Church. The Church is the Body of Christ and we are its members. There is NOTHING Conflicting in The Body of Christ. God has not given you the gift of faith. You just have to pray for the gift of faith for you to believe and then partake in His Body & Blood.

    Peace & Love in Christ.

    Sandra

  • @1Hope4All Thanks Sandra, i have faith in Jesus Christ its just that i do not partake in his body and blood but finally now i realize that as believers in Christ we MUST partake in Christs body and blood DAILY. I'm really excited to start growing in the Catholic Church, only thing though is i don't know what the church is going to have me do before i partake, do you know? (whatever it is its worth it) Grace and peace in Christ Sandra.

  • @bigboyburnsy, you need to attend Catholic RCIA Classes. It usually takes a year to do that. If you are already a Catholic, then all you have to do is go to Confession. As far as your cousin's priest, there is no such thing. If something like that exists in that parish, then I would advice you to RUN the other way and find another parish. Those kind of parishes are very LIBERAL as in a dirty word liberal, NOT good. We TRUE Catholics are very conservative and very TRADITIONAL.

  • @sgtmac5591 if you have any questions i am always happy to help.

  • John 6:58,will live for ever:the expression occurs rarely in the Bible, only twice in John 6:51-58)and once in the greek version of Gen 3:22)a comparison implied between the tree of life, which bore the fruit of immortality, and the bread or life the "medicine of immortality" (ccc 1331)wow ,I feel fortunate to be Catholic, I love it.God bless you.

  • It's not in Aramiac, it's Greek, and the word is "Trogoon" (it means to chew, yes. But I don' think you can convince anyone with arguments. The best argument is the actual experience of the presence itself.

  • Great video. I am still learning about the Catholic Church and need guidance in my journey. Help is always needed. Please, any Catholics out there please contact me in helping me learn what the Church believes.

  • During a famous Exorcism that took place throughout mouths in Notre Dame Church in Paris, France (If I'm not very much mistaken), in 1530's or so, the Demon could only be restrained - and by that I mean, physically ''handcuffed'' as to stop the vexation, so the Exorcism rituals could go on - after The Holy Eucharist was forcibly given and put down the throat of the possessed girl. The exorcist instinctively knew that only The Son of Man could indeed handcuff the Demon - Belzebu in that case.

  • He said he would not leave us and would be with us till the end of the age... The Jews had to eat the Passover Lamb in Exodus or the firstborn would die. Christian, you must eat the Perfect Passover Lamb for the Great Exodus leading to ETERNAL LIFE... or you may walk away...John 6:66...

  • Very beautiful, and informative, love it !

  • This is sooooo well done....Thank You

  • john 6:66

  • Amazing! She never reads verse 63 of John chapter 6....hmmm I wonder why? "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth NOTHING: the WORDS that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are LIFE." (verse 63) If you had the literal body and blood of Jesus right here and could take a bite out of him, what would it profit? Jesus said absolutely nothing. Drinking blood and eating flesh is forbidden before the Law ( Gen. 9:4), during the Law (Lev. 17:10-14), and under grace (Acts 15:20).

  • @rubylaneblog, Amazing! You have not truly paid attention to the video. Why do I know this? Because she DOES mention that verse. Listen to the video again!

    God bless you.

    Peace & Love in Christ.

    Sandra

  • @rubylaneblog If you notice in Chapter 6 of John's Gospel, Jesus said 5 times eat my flesh and drink my Blood, then it says some of his followers found this teaching hard to accept and so they left him, Now according to Jewish custom, Jesus being a teacher of the Law would have been OBLIGATED to go and tell them, guys Im just kidding I meant it symbolically, you notice he didnt he let them go. Then he turned to the 12 and said are you going to leave to? Peter said where are we to go you have

  • @abmf80 In John chapter six you are told at least five times that coming to Him and believing on Him would be the way to partake of Jesus and receive eternal life, and he let them know it was symbolic in verse 63 "...the WORDS...they are spirit...they are life." Peter understood that what Jesus said was figurative vs. 68 "thou hast the WORDS of eternal life." Jesus could not have condoned cannabalism it was against the Mosaic Law as mentioned above. Also, what Jewish custom are you referring to?

  • @rubylaneblog John 6:66

  • Beautiful video. I am an Eucaristic Minister at our church and I am at awe that we are actually given Jesus, both body and blood. It is such a beautiful and loving union.

  • @samjang, if you have the original Greek, that word "remember" is not used. Jesus wants it to be a commemoration of Him; a remembrance of Him as it was at the Passover.

  • @1Hope4All If Jesus meant it as a symbol then why would The disciples on the road to emmaus recognize Jesus in the breaking of the bread? Read it. as well as in 1 Corinthians Paul said if you eat of the Body and the Blood of the Lord unworthily you eat and drink condemnation on yourself.. why if it is only a symbol? and if it was just Bread and wine why wouldnt Paul of all people refer to it is as bread and wine? 1 cor 11:29

  • @abmf801, why are you preaching to the choir? LoL I believe in the Real Presence. This is my video that I produced. I was just adding that every time we celebrate the Mass it is a commemoration.

  • @abmf801 Because God is very particular with His types and symbols. God told Moses to speak to the rock in Numbers 20:8. Read it. Moses disobeyed God and smote the rock. The rock had already been smitten in Exodus 17:6 and that rock was a type of Christ (I Cor. 10:4). Moses disobeyed God by destroying a type or symbol and as a resuslt he did not make it into the promised land. The Rock once smitten does not need to be smitten again. He made "...one sacrifice for sins forever" (Heb. 10:12)

  • @samjang, I touch on a few points about "the spirit" being mentioned in John 6. You have misunderstood what Jesus meant there. Please read some of these comments. Many posts here have also mentioned it. Pay close attention to the video when it comes to that part about the spirit. :)

  • I've just noticed somthing. You know how Protestants make a fuss about the numbers "666"? Isn't it interesting that the disciples leaving Jesus after rejecting that the Eucharist was literally his blood and flesh is recorded in John 6:66? Interesting, eh.

  • @Gethsemaneful, YES!! I noticed that a long time ago. I wonder if they see that. I'm sure they do but perhaps they ignore it.

  • hey hey hey... who am I to say what Jesus meant... Catholics have been dealing with the Eucharist since the last supper. where did he say "disciples this really isn't me.. just a symbol. before you say that I have no common sense show me the verse and the early christian community that held that belief WITH PROOF. also Would you want to eat flesh that looked, tasted and felt like flesh... (I trust in Jesus' decisions on stuff.) Just because you can't prove it doesn't make it true or false

  • Catholicism is the TRUE CHURCH OF JESUS.

  • Why do Protestants take the Bible (correctly) as the literal and inerrant Word of God with the only exception being the passages on the Eucharist? He spells out a pretty literal understanding that his flesh true food and his blood is true drink. Why is this the 1 passage of the Bible NOT taken literally?

    Nice job with the video!

  • Great video. If anyone on here doubts whether Jesus meant it literally, just do a search on Google or YouTube for Eucharistic Miracles. Every now and then, Jesus will make a miracle happen for people who may be doubting the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. God Bless!

  • THIS IS PROOF THAT ONLY CATHOLIC CHURCH IS TRUE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST AND HIS HOLY SACRAMENTS!!!

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." Matthew 26:26-28

    God bless you

  • if you do not eat the flesh of the son of man and drink his blood, you shall have no lifre in you.end of discussion

  • He Didn't meant it literally!!! He said to practice this in His Memory and as a symbol of His Blood and His Flesh!

  • @aserher215, Symbol??!! Where does Jesus say SYMBOL?! He does NOT say that anywhere.

You obviously did not watch and listen to the video. You just jumped right away to your own preconceived conclusions. Please read St. John's Gospel chapter 6. Jesus says His flesh is REAL FOOD and His blood is REAL DRINK. Watch the video again with an open mind & an open heart.

    God bless you

    Peace be with you.

    Sandra

  • @aserher215 What is funny about born again fundamentalists is that YOU claim to be following the Bible literally and yet YOU decide WHEN JESUS was saying things literally and when he is talking symbolism.... AMAZING BLINDNESS.

  • @aserher215 Oh, Yes, he meant it literally!! the Eucharist IS the REAL presence of Christ, no symbol at all !! oh yes, He's powerfull enough to do that, and loves human beings enough to wait patiently for us exposed in churches, and so often,...alone...

Don't believe me if you cannot, put Him to trial with honest desire to know, (this you can)...You won't be dissapointed

  • EXCELLENT

  • Very good thank you

  • Beautiful presentation and a very talented singer who sings a song that I have never heard before... Thank you for moving my heart to desire to be with Jesus more each and every day. It is difficult to watch the scean when Jesus is being hung on the cross and it causes me to realize how much I need to stay diligient to walk so closely with our Lord and not sin. Amen! God bless your ministry.

  • The Miracle of the Transubstantiation of Bread and Wine into the Body and Blood is very difficult for some people to understand. Blessed are those who truly understand that our Lord dwells within it. Open your hearts, and believe in this miracle.

  • Jesus' Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity are fully and TRULY Present in Each Consecrated Host (Holy Eucharist or Blessed Sacrament). Humanly, we will never understand this miracle and mystery. The Holy Eucharist is THE greatest Treasure of the Holy Catholic Church.

  • JESUS IS really present in the Holy Eucharist. I invite you to read about the many, many Eucharistic Miracles,as well as the Catechism of the Holy Catholic Church.

  • No offense at all, but if you are not a knowledgeable, practicing CATHOLIC, you'll think that the Holy Eucharist is a symbol, which is definitely not! The Holy Eucharist IS truly Jesus. Jesus IS present in the Eucharist/Blessed Sacrament. I invite you to read the Catechism of the Holy Catholic Church, or about the MANY Eucharistic miracles in the history of our Church, by which Our Lord Jesus Himself has proved time and time again His REAL Presence in the Eucharist (LANCIANO, Orvieto, etc).

  • Protestants use the verse John 6:63 to refute the eucharist in this verse Jesus says " it is the spirit that gives life while the flesh is of no avail, the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life but there are some of you who do not believe. This is the only verse that protestants use to refute the eaucharist. What does this verse mean and how can I explain it. Pease explain. Thank you.

  • @sarahmcc28

Protestants have incorrectly intrupreted this! John 6:63 means that it is through the Holy Spirit (spirit) that gives life and not man. It also means that the words He spoke are the words given to Him by the spirit (Holy Spirit, and in the Trinity, God as well) to tell the people about how to recieve eternal life. The phrase "flesh is of no avail" means that humans cannot phyiscally without God make the bread turn into the Body and Blood. We must have assistance of the Holy Spirit

  • @ChaseFowler0192, "flesh is of no avail" is that OUR flesh is of no avail. The Flesh of Christ is everything. It also means that we cannot possibly understand how the host is actually Jesus but with the Holy Spirit we have faith and we believe that what we eat at communion at Mass is actually Jesus Christ, Body, Blood, Soul & Divinity. :)

  • not to be taken literally but symbolically. Any fool who can read would know this. Have Catholics lost all common sense.

  • @oldlite, Jesus meant it literally. It's obvious you did not listen to the whole video. Please watch it again with an open mind and an open heart.

May God have mercy on your soul so that you can see the Truth as presented to you.

    Pax Christi

  • @oldlite Please re-read John 6, or listen to the speaker in the video. The Eucharistic discourse there is quite explicit . The Eastern Orthodox also hold this to be true.

  • @oldlite symbolicly , if it were a symbol Paul would not have mentioned it in 1Cor 11 as serious issue and the disciples in John 6:66 would not have left him if it were just a symbol , Jesus would have called them back to tell them it were just a symbol , do you have common sense?

  • @oldlite Explain how could it be symbolicaly?

  • @oldlite really ?? are Catholics the ones who have lost common sense ? So since you Protestants are Bible thumpers please explain the verses that Jesus's declaration that we must eat his flesh and drink his blood : Then many of his disciples who were listening said, "This saying is hard; who can accept it? Since Jesus knew that his disciples were murmuring about this, he said to them, "Does this shock you?

If Jesus was talking "symbolically" why were the people listening shocked ? Think.

  • If all Catholics really believe that when they partake in the Eucharist that they are consuming the flesh and blood of Jesus, doesn't that make them cannibals (at least in their own minds)? It seems a bit barbaric.

  • @quidproquo2004, shame!! You are like the ones in John 666!! You know that number? The mark of the BEAST!

  • @quidproquo2004 read John 6 :55 and you will understand .

  • @quidproquo2004 It is hard to believe that we are to eat the body of Christ and drink His blood, and yet that is what He has told us we have to do to receive eternal life. It is because it is hard to believe that so many of His followers left Him. But at the Last Supper, He gave us the Holy Eucharist, His body and His blood truly present in the consecrated bread and wine. And He gave the Apostles the power to consecrate the bread and wine, changing it into His body and blood - the Real Presence.

  • he waits for us

  • Is Jesus really waiting for me in the tabernacle day and night?

  • @Winter077, YES He is. He is waiting in every Tabernacle of every Catholic Church in the world. :) Come be with Jesus!

  • @Winter077 Yes he is waiting for you and loves you more than you can ever imagin! You are His child! Go visit him. The local Catholic Church should have an adoration day. He loves you.

  • thanks for sharing such a wonderful video

  • Praised be Jesus Christ in His Real Presence in the Eucharist! Jesus and Mary love you!

  • is it a coincidence that they left Jesus in John 6:66......

If so, it is further proof that Christ is the way to salvation. I don't see a reason NOT to believe.

  • @KRpT0, there are no coincidences in the bible! God is a God of order! Everything is the way that it is because God made it so or allowed it to be.

  • Amen Amen Amen

  • @apopyalips, what's your point?

I believe the words of Jesus Christ; and Jesus said, "he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed."

  • Amen! This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing, and may God Bless you always!

  • still love this vid :o)

  • what is the name of this song?

  • @kontrai, I put all the information about this song in the "info" section. :D Just click that down arrow button under the video to bring down the information.

  • @1Hope4All thank you, i wasnt pay attention...

  • @kontrai, no problem. :)

  • i am so greatful and proud to be Assyrian spoken Aramaic, the language of Jesus. Protestants or whoever doesn't believe in the Euchrist, need to come together and not deny Jesus words. because my origins also of Catholicism in the first century to accept the Euchrist with Rite of Rome, St. Peter the first Pope to St.Thomas. OUR CHURCH IS ONE HOLY AND APOSTOLIC CATHOLIC CHURCH OF THE EAST. God help some American for only understanding the bible.

  • @Catholicist Re: i am so greatful and proud

Protestantism is not just an issue in America, it is an issue world wide.

  • Hello. I just wanted to say I found your video on the real presence and it was really awesome. :) I am teaching a friend of a friend about the Church online. She just became catholic recently, but doesn't really have a support structure around her locally and also doesn't know much more than the basics about the faith. The video is a good primer on the Real Presence and just generally well made. I liked it and it helped. :) So, thanks.

  • The wafer used in the mass. Catholics believe that the wafer turns into the actual body of Jesus Christ. This teaching, called transubstantiation, is one of their fundamentally most critical beliefs—one they believe is crucial to salvation. In reality, the wafer is nothing more than a sun symbol common in pagan religions.

  • @avilakaj, You don't know what you're talking about. You know NOTHING about the Catholic faith and what the Church teaches, so I advice for you not to even post on any of my videos. You only spread LIES!
