Oh, don't worry, I'm very familiar with that song (it's in another one of my remixes). I just don't like Final Fantasy 7. :P

One that I'm not entirely that proud of. "Ultimate Zero," and a remake, "Ultimate Zero Beta." They're on my channel, I think, but they are also on my Newgrounds account. They're okay, but not amazing, as far as I'm concerned. :P

@BitiumRibbon I wouldnt say its bad. I think the remix is actually fairly impressive compared to most first time remixes i see on youtube and newgrounds. It kept true to the original themes and blended them very effectively without overpowering or overdoing any of them.

@BitiumRibbon As you should be. It's really good... I'm sad that there doesn't seem to be any more remixes of it. I can't even find the original arrangement of it... :( Do you remix by ear or use the sheet music to get the original melodies, then go from there? Just curious. I've tried remixing by ear, but I suck. And the music sheets take so long to put into FL... what do you use for software? Fruity Loops or something else? The quality of your tracks are amazingly well...

I do the vast majority of my stuff by ear. I've always had a good ear - I used to listen to video game songs and then play them on the piano in my spare time. FL was just a natural evolution of that.

I rarely need sheet music but I've needed it before - FF8 and 9's boss themes, Gilgamesh's battle, etc. - so what I'll do is open up the sheet music in a program like Finale, read it, and then put it manually into FL. ^^

As for the Tetris theme, I think what I like so much about it is that NOBODY remixes it. It's always about Theme A, and when it isn't about Theme A it's about Theme B. I'm planning on doing the opening theme too - a perfect 4 years of Tetris remixes. xD

Yes'm! That was part of the reason I remade it. I didn't like the quality and the perfectionist in me wouldn't let me sit back and exclude FF8. lol
