  • Nice suit.

  • the world had so much hope in the us

but how these banksters, war profiteers and corrupt politicians have raped the country is still pissing me off

  • and then rail the insured when they collect - this guy is a joke!

  • Rep. Alan Grayson asks "Where can I get a deal like this?"

Wasn't it a GOVERNMENT insurance policy? I would have Grayson on the hotseat and ask him how could he possibly think this was a good risk at the time his government made the policy. Why is the government in the business of insuring ANYONE? How could they sign the taxpayers name on such a bad risk. Why do you think it is ok for you to risk my capital and future issuing insurance policies?

  • Oww... I bet that was hell for Barney to have to interrupt him.

  • Look at the Cup at the back!!? as long as you have cups like that you necer get any justice!!? this cup should be at least angry of what is going on, but insted he looks like a really dum ass that doesnt understand a thing of what is happening there. insted he goes into the streets and hit the people for protesting at this!!!?

  • I see a very long prision sentence for Mr. Pandit Citi Bank liquidated.

  • Who is Busted who says Gentelmens time is expired!!? This guy is one of the tyves!? Let the man ask his questions.

What the FUCK!? Gentelmens time is expiered. FUCK!!? what the FUCK

Put these Cuck sucker tyves in Gail, or rub the money from them which they rub from people. Start with the ................

  • Double talking bankers ripped the country a new ash hole!

  • CEO of CityGroup? Name: Pandit or Bandit?

  • While I hated Grayson cuz of his partisanship, arrogance, mannerisms, etc this was one of his good moments. I just wish he would have specified that the so-called 'insurance' that Citi purchased from us was DURING the catastrophe. I did trade investigations for a firm, & the first thing we checked was the time stamp. Wonder how much 'insurance' AIG sold to GS & friends after they saw the wave cresting outside their windows.

  • I don't know what the f*ck is wrong with you if your American blood doesn't BOIL when watching this video.

  • the FDIC provides insurance to BANKS. if banks fail the FDIC absorbs the losses incured. ie. the public pays the bill.

  • @sundancekid122 FDIC is funded by the banks.

  • lmaooo page 3 @ 1:14 lets take a look at page 3 (you lying douchebag)

  • hes selection of ties is awsome.

  • Wow, you guys in Florida voted this guy out? You're really a bunch of dumb fucking piece of shit hicks and you're KILLING THE FUCKING COUNTRY. How about instead of voting him out for some teabagger, you instead kill yourself and your entire family?

  • @davelister2005 yep they replaced a Harvard-educated successful businessman who wrote a thesis on old people (ref: florida) with a HVAC technician. annnnd there goes the last shred of hope for humanity.

  • @davelister2005 I support the early tea Bag movement & not the Later hijacked one,

I didnt know tea baggers had ANYTHING to do w/ Alans non-re-election, But I was VERY unhappy & bewildered how he didnt get re-elected,

My suspicions were at the time in part due to his drilling of the secretary of the federal reserve that exposed he asshiliness that that had something to do w/ it & perhaps THEY sent someone THEY funded to beat him, But yeah, I hope he gets a key position somewhere, I like him

  • @davelister2005

This is just show boating. Al Franken is another who enjoys grilling CEO, Chairmans, etc for entertainment, but they never actually change policy.

  • Spraying shit with Fabreez does not mean the shits not there anymore.

  • Why does Apu over here talk like a Texan?

  • The Lone Ranger. And people waste their time with sitcoms!

  • That Citigroup guy looks like a real weasel.

  • It is wrong for these FED cronies to infuse cash in foreign governments and banks to influence the stock markets and currencies to make profits for their friends. Obama appointed his friends and constituents to key positions who then acted like kids in the candy store; like allowing your friends work at your fathers bank, cooking the books, giving their friends a huge some of money to spend like Brewster's millions. They robbed us blind, like Rumsfeld and Bush robbed the Pentagon. Accountability

  • Checks and balances are being subverted through the creation of the FED, without oversight. I feel this can lead to the crash of the Fed, or the treasury, if The Fed makes it's own policy on trillion dollar loans to foreign Gov, without congressional approval or oversight. Congress must have access to the Fed's books, via committee, to meet the requirement of the constitution for cheeks and balances. Loaning Countries funds to prop currency's to hedge their privat bets, profiting on $ exchanges

  • Hey!! Bradoff Pittler was there @ 3:39

  • @patbarkley - Further, and to the point of this entire video, where did the 250 billion in toxic assets go? Do you think they were marked to market? Do you think those worthless MBS were suddenly spun around and profitable? Or do you think that maybe some sketchy accounting rules allow them to keep that amount off of their balance sheet? Do you think their stock price would be below 5 dollars (minus the split) if it wasn't known these threats still existed?

  • @patbarkley - Profit of 12.3 billion? How absolutely pathetic and insulting to take ONE aspect of this bailout and rejoice in a "profit." You're merely looking at the 45 billion that was injected into Citi. What about the guarantees that were made on the toxic assets? The bonds? What about the cost to the American taxpayer when banks plead at the discount window for free money, loaning it out further from there at larger percentages.

  • @TheAnonymousOne67

Did you even read my comment? They made a profit of $12.3 billion on the LOANS to Citi.

"What about the guarantees that were made on the toxic assets? The bonds?"

LOL! They made another $7 billion on the guarantees. The program ended in Dec 2009.

Not a single dollar paid out on the program.

"What about the cost to the American taxpayer when banks plead at the discount window for free money"

Discount money is not free. There was no cost to the taxpayer. It was profitable.

  • @patbarkley And then the 12.3 Billion went to the defense budget. more planes..bombs.. tanks..etc..

  • @TheFallenWon I couldn't of said it better. God bless

  • Pandit the BANDIT!!!

  • Alan Grayson for president!!

  • Grayson, the government made a profit from the loans to Citigroup. Still the worst deal? LOL!

  • @patbarkley - Any evidence whatsoever defending that? It's hard to believe a profit could be made on upwards of 250 billion in bad debts offset with a mere 7 billion. I think it's pretty clear you are mistaken or are thinking of a different loan the Fed may have extended to keep Citi solvent, not the "insurance" program Citi got in this case.

  • @TheAnonymousOne67

TARP Profit on Citigroup: $12.3 Billion

Google the above headline for the entire WSJ article.

  • @TheAnonymousOne67

SIGTARP: On December 22, 2009, the Treasury announced that it was terminating the program without Citibank drawing on any funds. As a fee for the guarantee, the Fed, Treasury and FDIC would keep $5.2B of $7.0B in trust preferred securities in addition to warrants for common shares.

LOL! The program ended with a profit to the government less than one year after Grayson's whine fest.

  • i miss this man, the floridians have done it again, they voted out one of the best people they could have ever had running the place down there. Instead, they wanted to bring in yet another age of downtrodden society where the rich stand on the backs of the poor, the sick, the young and the old just to make a buck. thanks florida. I'm surprised you guys actually could count the tickets this time.

  • @the1tigglet Grayson is an idiot. And mentally unstable to boot. He should get back on his meds.

  • @patbarkley Riiiiight like Rick Scott is soooooo much better. Yeah, lets waste state money on clinics drug testing people on food stamps so he can get kickbacks, while he slashed funding for the disabled, public schools and restricted voting, and privatized prisons which he profited off of by getting kickbacks from those just like that idiot female gov did in Arizona off of Immigrants being thrown in state prisons. Get a clue who you are talking about before you make a statement next time.

  • @the1tigglet

Why is the drug testing a waste?

    Restricted voting? How's that?

  • @patbarkley drug testing of people who are using social services is a waste especially in this economy when there is a ton of people who are not usually using such services on it now since the first dip in the economy. The study they did after he implemented the law is 2% that is a complete waste of taxpayer money and it goes to a series of clinics all connected financially to the gov rick scott.

  • @the1tigglet

2% of the cost is a waste? So 98% isn't?

Sounds better than most government programs.

  • @patbarkley uhm yeah, its people like you with your math deficiency and your belief in everything that the rethuglican theocrats say that's wrong with this country. 100% cost for 2% findings is not justified spending. If you want to keep wasting your tax payer money on nonsense go right ahead, doesn't make it any less meaningless and costly.

  • @the1tigglet

2% findings? Where'd you see that?

  • they are restricting the voting by requiring people to use unusual id's usually these id's cost more or if they are free like they are in michigans newest law, they are not putting that information out so that the public will know they are free so most people won't get them because they have a lack of information on their hands. It's rediculous and another waste of time and taxpayers money.

  • @the1tigglet

Unusual IDs? You mean a Drivers License?

Maybe people too stupid to get the IDs are too stupid to vote?

  • @the1tigglet You would not believe the smear campaign the Repub's launched against him. They REALLY wanted to shut him up. He's running again next term and I am 1 Floridian who will be campaigning for him.

  • Weiner/Grayson 2012! encourage you to check Rep. WEINER take on republicans! He's also great!

  • @ChocolateORE "Weiner/Grayson 2012!"

Two Dicks on One Ticket! Perfect!!!

  • @patbarkley The can dick around all they want, stick it wherever they want, take pictures and span it cause in the end it doesnt matter what the hell they do with their private lives. I don't get it, I really don't. I could care less what they do in their spare time. It's a shame.

  • @ChocolateORE Yes, it's a shame such idiots were elected to Congress.

  • @ChocolateORE Yes, it's a shame such idiots were elected to Congress.

  • @patbarkley I don't see why so. They aren't owned by large and wealthy corporations like so many others.

  • @ChocolateORE You can't fix stupid.

  • @patbarkley I don't believe that, please get educated. I believe in you <3

  • @ChocolateORE Don't worry, Grayson already got an education.

    He's still stupid though.

  • @patbarkley well, he's running again for congress and I hope he wins! Can't hold him back.. I hope Weiner gets back in too! These dudes are true Americans!

  • @larryjohnny

You should donate to his campaign.

Yeah, these dudes are real democrats.

  • @CAPITALGAINSBRAH Yeah, he should probably have left that 1 billion dollar suit at home right?

  • Its amazing how the average American has been brainwashed into mouthing a fear of "Socialism" while they have let their politicians socialize risk and cost at the same time they privatizing profits for the defense industry, big oil, big pharma, and the banking cartels. You won't fund healthcare to help your fellow man and yourselfs but you'll let a bunch of charlatans bleed you dry to the tune of 13 Trillion dollars...what a bunch of rubes.

  • Alan Grayson is doing a super job;We need more like him looking out for this country.

  • I am at a point where I cant watch this anymore. I just get too mad and disgusted! What has happened to the world? Why is there so much greed? If the end is near I sure hope these rats like Vikram dont get away with it! His head would look good in a wicker basket!

  • Grayson has gone back to chasing ambulances, right?

    What an obnoxious critter!

  • @78923451 Dont just say it make em do it folks !!!

  • If David Putty had a dipshit older brother he would look like this moron Grayson. Nice distinguished career btw, what was it, 2 years or 4 before voters kicked his stupid ignorant socialist ass to the curb?

  • @JAB5625 Grayson is one good man. may he be blessed.

  • @JAB5625

    That'd be 2 years.

I'll miss him and his ignorant obnoxious questions.

  • @patbarkley could you tell us why you think his questions are ignorant? Him=congressman You=commenter on online media site. I chose you as the ignorant ass, tell us why I would be wrong. Are you on the side of some little dirt ball slumdog indian from city group? Bend over taxpayer, and like it.

  • @d1incharge

I think his questions are ignorant because they are.

Did you see the video where he was whining to Bernanke, asking who got the cash from the Central Bank swaps? OMG! What an assclown.

His departure is going to raise the average IQ of Congress by at least 2 points.

  • @patbarkley Assclown? You don't care what the private bank "federal reserve", does with your money, what was that word you used? Ignorant, when you ignore what is going on, which is what you sound like you are proud of doing. Still no explanation to how his questions are ignorant, yet you keep proving yours. You don't care if they print trillions of dollars and hand them out without saying where they went because you are too fucking ignorant to realize they deflate the shit out of your money.

  • @d1incharge Yes, Alan is an assclown. The Fed isn't a private bank. The Fed doesn't use tax dollars.

The Fed doesn't print trillions of dollars and "hand them out".

Bernanke did say where the dollars went, the assclown (Grayson) couldn't understand.

  • @patbarkley the fed is privately owned assclown, 100% of federal income tax goes to pay interest to the fed, so if you don't think they use tax dollars, do just a little research. It doesn't matter who prints the money (treasury or fed), if the fed has it spent already. What is our deficite again? The US fiat dollar has less than 5% of its original buying power due to the deflation of it's value, the price of gas and gold hasn't changed, the value of your dollar has gone to shit.

  • @d1incharge

The Fed is not privately owned.

"100% of federal income tax goes to pay interest to the fed"

In 2008, the Fed earned $27.5 billion from Treasury and Federal agency securities.

In 2008, Federal individual income tax receipts were $1.146 TRILLION.

You're only off by about $1.118 TRILLION. Who are you, ALan Grayson? LOL!

  • @patbarkley You are the one that believes the fed isn't privately owned. LOOK IT UP RETARD!!! It is the same as Federal Express, just because federal is in the name doesn't make any difference. Earned? Dude you are deep into some nonsense if you think our govt. is making money. Where did that 1.1 trillion go? dumbass, could you please tell us?Maybe you should grow up a little kid.........I don't have to go to your profile to find out you are young, and have a shitload to learn about govt.

  • @d1incharge Yeah, I believe the Fed isn't privately owned only because it isn't.

" It is the same as Federal Express"

Which act of Congress created Fed Ex?

    "Earned?"

Yeah, collected interest on the bonds they (Fed) own.

"Where did that 1.1 trillion go?"

The Congress wasted it on a buch of stupid programs, mostly.

"Maybe you should grow up a little kid"

Wow, a kid showing you were off by $1.118 trillion. LOL!

    Moron.

  • @patbarkley I don't care if you have to go to wikipedia to understand that the federal reserve is a bunch of privately owned banks "somewhat controlled" by the govt., not owned by. When you borrow from the federal reserve, the president that sold us out the fed explained it best, look that up. Look at the CPI and that is what is happening to our dollar thanks to the federal reserve printing money out of control and handing it out all over the world with nobody able to audit overseas transactions.

  • @d1incharge "When you borrow from the federal reserve"

    You pay interest. Congrats.

    Fake Wilson quote? LOL!

Do you have any correct info about the Fed? Or do you just repeat the BS you've read?

Try not to repeat that silly tidbit about all the income tax goes to the Fed, that one REALLY demonstrates your subpar IQ.

  • @patbarkley At least the banks and federal govt still have supporters................keep up that good work moron. IQ was tested at 142, try to beat that, which has nothing to to with knowledge of govt. dipshit. IQ has nothing to do with this. Tell us where personal income tax goes genious....please. Gas tax is for roads...........Social security is a ponzi scheme, just keep ignoring where your money goes and who controls it........good luck.

  • @d1incharge 142, LOL!

Where does income tax go? I'll tell you where it doesn't go, to the Federal Reserve, like your dumb ass claim.

  • "I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country.A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men.We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but.....

  • @d1incharge That is an excellent example of a fake quote. Congrats!

  • @patbarkley the federal reserve is a private institution

  • @jagatech How do you figure that?

  • @patbarkley All of the feds shareholders are private banks. None of the stock is owned by the government.

  • @jagatech So what?

The stock may not be sold, traded, or pledged as security for a loan; dividends are, by law, 6 percent per year.

The shareholders don't get to keep all the earnings. Not even close.

  • @patbarkley Yes It has some regulations from the government but it is still private. It is really hard to even audit it to find out what they are really doing.

  • @jagatech I'll send you a copy of their audit report.

And if they're private, why do they have a dot gov URL?

And if they're private, why did the "owners" only get $1.6 billion last year while the Treasury got $78.4 billion?

  • @patbarkley I understand your view point. What you have to understand is that the federal reserve determines how and to what degree it can be audited so it is NOT an audit at all, unless completely audited. All foreign dealings are exempt being inspected in a GAO inspection and that is perfect for the international bankers who are the stockholders and run everything. So we don't really know how much the stockholders really profit from all their dealings.

  • @jagatech "All foreign dealings are exempt being inspected in a GAO inspection"

Their central bank swaps are in their balance sheet, released every week.

"So we don't really know how much the stockholders really profit from all their dealings"

Yes we do. They get a 6% dividend every year. Ended up being $1.6 billion total last year.

In comparison, the US Treasury received $78.4 billion from the Fed last year.

  • @d1incharge "Him=congressman"

    Him=defeated ex-congressman.

Wow, he lost 56% to 38%. LOL!

  • @patbarkley And Obama was voted it, and Taylor Swift was voted as musician of the year, voters are morons, if that is the only thing you have against him, keep digging, it is almost a compliment to get fewer votes these days. Voters are at an all time low for quality. Don't forget, he did get voted in the first time............I guess you don't want to know what the fed is doing do you?

  • @d1incharge Yes, Florida voters were stupid in 2008, they wised up in 2010.

The only thing I have against him is that he's an ignorant assclown.

  • @patbarkley what's ignorant about challenging these criminals who stole our money and shipped our jobs overseas. Health care companies have 30% overhead, Medicare is 3%.. Do the math buddy! Or do you enjoy watching a few people get super rich and the rest of the country suffer! Are you an insurance salesman? Did you work for AIG? What's in it for you that you want to see global corporations make big profit while the USA gets sold to China! Seriously, I don't get your reasoning at all!

  • @larryjohnny Criminals should go to jail.

Start with Franklin Raines and the rest of the Democrats at Fannie Mae.

  • @patbarkley sounds good to me, I don't if there Dems or Repubs.. we need some accountability and consequences in politics.. great point !

  • Pandit is a satanic little weasel. I'd like to run into him in a dark ally.

  • @jeremyraybrown Lol !

  • This is one of the best clips on youtube. Alan Grayson was one of the few men doing his job on this issue, questioning the criminals in a proper way.

These people are so obviously criminal, my only conclusion is that youtube commenter "PatriciaCookFind1" is either insane or a hired hand to repeatedly smear these comments in a sorry attempt to sway the weak minded. Fact is, one of the best things to happen to the House in a long time was Alan Grayson.

  • @PatriciaCookFind1

Its embarrassing watching you repeat the same weak point over and over again. "he lost 4 to 1" And? You say that as if history ALWAYS shows that the majority = correct. That's the biggest joke of the ages. Alan will be back, and Im sure while hes out he'll be working on the same thing he was doing for 15 years before he took that position, which was prosecuting war criminals. Which might be where we need him the most right now anyway. Meanwhile Patricia can stay cRaZY.

  • @PatriciaCookFind1 Alan Grayson is crazy like a fox. District 8 swallowed the lies put out by corporations who felt threatened by his wit and truth. And they paid millions to do it.. If you think that's a sane response, it isn't. So you swallowed the corporate crap whole. Now you are so defensive that you call whoever disagrees with you CrAZy! But you got screwed by SCOTUS, same as everybody else. When Grayson was in DC, America had a chance. With the hack, Webster, there's no chance.

  • PatriciaCookFind1 2 things

    1. Alan Grayson may have been the most sane person questioning these thieves.

    2. cRaZy PatriciaCookFind1 is cRaZy

  • @PatriciaCookFind1 You're a fascist troll. That says everything about your politics. No facts. No reality. Florida is populated by fundamentalist hillbilly inbreds and snake handlers. Grayson was too classy for you people. Interesting that Webster is so selective about his reading of the Bible when he needs to be, as I am sure you are. And that you are, as he is, just as selective when it comes to anti-gay propaganda and legislation. Has your church killed any abortion doctors lately?

  • @PatriciaCookFind1 Talk about a RANT! You're the Queen of Looney Toons RANT! LOL Grayson's Taliban Dan ad against Webster was right on. You probably go to the same fanatic church as Webster. You are all the same as the Taliban. Fundamentalist creeps! You probably agree with Webster's legislation against women. Big Corporate money spent millions to get rid of Grayson. He tells truth and you and your fascist ilk can't stand people who tell the truth. Go wallow in your corporate lies.

  • @PatriciaCookFind1 If you are so blind to the fact that Alan Grayson is one of the very few men who speaks against the liars and the frauds--- and works for the public good, you deserve the rip-offs you vote for. Like a neo-con once said to me: "Show me who a person votes for and I will tell you what they eat for breakfast." I'll bet you eat spiders, newts, snakes and all manner of unlovely things for breakfast.

    Rock on, Alan!

  • Whatever you think of his politics, you need people like Grayson as a representative holding public and private officials accountable to the state.

  • LMAO. Find a job, moron.

  • Pandit misspelled his name.

    It starts with "B."

  • wow, Alan Grayson Rocks ! I'm donating to his future campaigns and I don't even live in his state ! What a bunch of Crooks these CEOs of banks are ! They shafted the USA and don't even care ! Shame on you tea party people for supporting these big business liars and their candidates ! you deserve a crap economy and I hope you go broke !

  • Alan Grayson

    puts the Fear of God

    into the Neocons.

  • @ryanshaunkelly He lost his seat 3 weeks ago numbnuts.

  • @ryanshaunkelly Actually... The Indians not understanding the concept of ownership because the could not create anything that last a season or more (leather Clothing etc) thought they were pulling a scam (read stealing) when they sold the island. By the way 24 Dollars worth of "trinkets" (all things the Indians could not make by the way mirrors knives axes along with beads etc) would be like aliens coming here and offering things we could not make. Think what those things would be like....

  • Read the book "Guide To Investing In Gold And Silver " and then BUY SILVER!.

  • @ryanshaunkelly We're all shitting oureselves.

  • @ryanshaunkelly ron paul/alan grayson

  • @ryanshaunkelly Is that supposed to be a haiku?... because it fails...

  • @ryanshaunkelly he has done nothing....its a song and dance

  • @ryanshaunkelly Yeah, neo-cons are afraid of idiots in Congress.

  • @patbarkley

    we must work together

    NadePaulKuciGravMcKi

    we need a new Congress

  • @ryanshaunkelly We do need a new Congress. Term limits would be a good place to start.

Voting out all the idiots libs, that would be all the libs, would do wonders.

  • @patbarkley

remove all corrupt pols from both parties

  • @ryanshaunkelly

    Excellent idea!

  • @patbarkley are you kidding? Libs are great ! If you leave Republicannot's in charge they will sell us out to China for short-term profits.. they already did during the Bush Czar Regime!

  • @larryjohnny

Clinton sold us out to the Chicoms.

Last I heard, he was some kind of big Democrat.

  • If you would have let these global criminals who don't care whatsoever for the rule of law or our Constitution go bankrupt, you wouldn't have to be having this silly argument.

  • damn thats a charismatic suit mr. grayson

  • Banking magnate Baron M.A. Rothschild said, “Give me control over a nations currency, and I care not who makes its laws.” It doesn’t matter if the Democrats or Republicans hold office. Real power lies with the banks, notably the Federal Reserve, and particularly the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

  • Dude, Grayson GRILLED this guy! Grayson 2016!

  • It is just natural to hate bankers, but I need to point out that this is not 100% their fault. The FED kept interest rates artificially low in order to prevent the cost of financing the national debt from forcing austerity on the Bush administration. For every percentage point that the interest rates go up the cost of financing a 10 Trillion dollar debt goes up 100 billion dollars. The only problem is that they overheated the economy so that inflation got out of control and rates had to go up.

  • I will vote for Alan Grayson. He got my vote.

  • @perlaand He's running again and hopefully Weiner will also run!

  • vikram bandit

  • The guy from Citigroup should not just have to sit through 5 minutes of Grayson.

He should have to either give full and honest answers or stay in his chair until he does.

  • To rrhynes: Not only Alan "Mr. Cojones" Greyson is representing Dems but also Indep like me. And he is telling it like it is. You may not like him, but it is not rare to see a piece of culo like you making those kind of comments.

  • I don't even live in FL but am sending him money for his re-election. He needs to run this country.

  • @openmindist I totally agree

  • Omg... he keeps trying to cut through the shit while Pandit keeps shoving more of it in the way

  • The reason Pandit is so relaxed is because he KNOWS he's being protected by the Federal Government aka Federal Reserve. Obama has the exact same farcicle strawman confidence.

  • MONEY what about this way: youtube.com/watch?v=Y14CHYN-9yk youtube.com/watch?v=l7zBYIsU6xo

  • Total moron . Hijinks galore, vitriol, bullshit. Typical Dem nutjob.

  • that cunt Barney Frank couldn't wait to shut Grayson up

  • Dude, why do they cut them off. This is important shit, at least let him get some god damn answers out of these pricks. If they are getting our money they should have to sit there and get questioned for as long as is needed. Also, WHERE THE FUCK IS EVERYBODY. I see like 3 congressmen present on an important day. I feel the reason we are so fucked is no one is DC knows what is going on because they are too busy screwing paiges instead of work. Just do what the lobbyist says without reading shit.

  • Excellent line of questioning! The least that should happen to these incompetent bankers is to be squeezed by the politicians! If they're too big to fail at least lets squeeze them and then fire them!

In France the banks had to pay back the loans with interest! The people actually made money out of their incompetency.

The big problem with the bailout is that banks know that they can do it again!

  • Raped By Alan...

  • I love how he just stares these pieces of craps down and gives them that little smile. It's amazing, even though he is a democrat, I have respect for this guy.

  • @MrSalamander7 As Obama has said he wants to take from the rich and give to the poor. To each according to their needs, from each accoring to their abilities. Part of the problems we have today are due to the Dems wanting poor people to buy homes which as it turned out they would not pay for.

  • @MrSalamander7 So you guys really do want a Socialist state.

  • @cloogerdude I guess a corrupt financial sector is the status quo for you? And by your comment it's clear you have no clue about what Grayson is talking about. : )

  • ppl that dont like alan grayson make no sense. we need ppl like him with guts.

  • god i love alan grayson...

  • Ah ah ah ... these politicians know shit about economics... the government's "worst deal" is making billions: the "insurance" is now almost over, TARP has been repaid and the stocks the gov bought at 3.something are now worth more than 4... that means billions of profit for US taxpayers... these radical-chic politicians should shut up

  • Mainstream economics knows nothing about the economy, obviously.

There is no profit for taxpayers. You are either a liar or indoctrinated.

  • apparently you don't know shit about deal making. We as tax payers just took a massive risk for a minimal return.

  • Minimal return??????????

Citi shares are now worth like 4.35

I believe taxpayers paid them like 3.25

    (4.35-3.25)/3.25= 34%

34% return you call it a small return?

It's a very high return, perfectly comparable to the level of risk involved in the deal, which wasn't extremely high, as we all knew citi was gonna recover sooner or later...
