@Warmuro when the lag is set as high as I had to set it just for the game to even be playable on my recording devise (it was somewhere in the 100's, can't remember exactly) the timing window is set waaay back so you don't miss every note that comes by which is why it seems that I almost miss the notes that come by in that section. personally even I was surprised that I was able to hit them. Trust me, I'm no technical wizard and I hope to get a capture device that doesn't lag as much :)

@EDgARmNDOZA Certain notes are part of star power sequences(the ones shaped like stars), when you hit all the notes in a sequence you fill 1/4 of the star power meter. Once you fill up the star power meter halfway you can use star power to double the points you earn. What the whammy does is that when playing sustain notes that are apart of a star power sequence you can use the whammy bar to extract more star power from that sustain note thus fill the star power meter faster.
