I've used a no cd crack, which made the widescreen work, however that crack also caused the game to freeze at loading screens.

@smbFoley20 Crack applied to incorrect game version. There are three versions: 1.0/1.1/1.2. Install clean version of NFS:U2, download patch to latest version 1.2 and then apply crack 1.2.

My resolution is 1440x900 but the game crashes after the first race in the loading screen :S

i just see the loading screen and these little loading bars...

the game runs fine without the patch

any ideas on how to fix it?

@EveryNameAssigned Yeah i got the same problem. You got a Nvidia Graphicscard right? Just download the latest force driver(NOT THE NORMAL DRIVER) and it should work.

It runs in 1366×768 and maxed out (including AA?) and with ENB and it runs 50-60 FPS? :-O Surprising for me, I had Ati 3650 with similar performance, but I played in 1024×768 (I was noob and didn't know there was a widescreen patch) with all settings max except AA and Vsync and it run 40-60 :-O

I have Acer Aspire 5551G, only difference between our laptops is that you have better processor, i have AMD Athlon P320 2.1GHz.

Putting all on for me decreases my FPS to around 30...

Shit... I can't put the Widescreen Patch! It says unable to Patch it! I had bought the Underground 2 in 2004, but Ihave putted a Crack now because I'm bored of inserting the CD... Is the Crack the problem?
