@bhhcht Right now I drive a 2007 Mustang. It's only a V6 but it's manual and fast enough for me and ever aftermarket part imaginable is made. But my first car was an automatic Mazda 6 2.3l. I spent about 2 grand in aftermarket parts and it just didn't perform like I hoped. I mean it was a great car but I wanted more fun.

@bhhcht For everyone's info, this supercharged even automatic is "faster" than a WRX. Top speed supercharged is about 140mph, wrx=135. At least in my personal experience on the track.

no G5 did come, or currently comes, with a 2.0. It looks like that's the 2.4 with the blower from an ION Red Line or an SS/SC.

dude are you sure thats the 2.4? i have a 2.4 and planning to s/c mine. but i would expect the power output to be more than 222whp. stock, the 2.0 is 150 crank. and the gt is 175. isnt this the 2.0..

Look at the end of the vid, you'll see the blower in front then at the back the motor which says "ECOTEC VVT"; only the 2.4 says that on it. 222 whp is nearly a 70 whp over stock for the 2.4... pretty nice gains... but it can do better as you say. Good luck with your blower set up.

If you notice it says EcoTec VVT, the only other engine with VVT besides the 2.4L LE5 is the 2.0L Turbocharged LNF in the Solstice GXP and Sky Redline. So yup, that's a 2.4L VVT ECOTEC LE5 egnine. :D
