@karlwalsh13 dice didnt make it so that you could lie down on the ground in BFBC2, i dont know about battlefield 3 though. they probably did it because they knew that in cod people will stand up... and just fall to the floor... very unrealistic in my opinion. and another reason they might have did it was so that snipers wouldnt be in prone position a mile across the map to where it would be almost impossible to kill him, unless they came up to him anyway...!
