  • What are they doing at 2:54?

  • he shouldn't have left.

  • Greg Kinnear had his own show? What the hell?

  • bad way to go. he seemed alright

  • Lionel Hutz, attorney at law!

  • I saw this show every night, and greg would practically beg producers for a movie part! And he finally got a part in some big movie, and it launched a giant movie career. And phil and Chris and Belushi, I saw them all, thanks for the memories!

  • thumbs up if reddit brought u here

  • I wish I could go back to this time........

  • I cant believe he did the interview hammered!

  • Hello, I am actor Troy McClure.

You may remember me from such educational films: "2 Minus 3 Equals Negative Fun", "Lead Paint: Delicious BUT Deadly", and "Here Comes The Metric System."

I'm here to talk about the frank and simple facts about sex, and now:

"Fuzzy Bunny's Guide To You Know What"

  • I was thinking about his 'Sinatra Group' skit the other day while driving & started laughing. I concur......he was the man.

  • RIP Phil

  • According to Wiki, Phil was a graphic artist who did voices for fun, needed a better social outlet so one day while watching the comedy troop the Groundlings, he just jumped on stage and became part of the cast XDD There he helped Paul Reubens develop the Pee-wee Herman character! <3

  • Hi, I'm Phil Hartman, you may remember me from such shows as Saturday Night Live and The Simpsons

  • Greg Kinnear is a talented actor, but one of the least charismatic personalities out there... just someone's nice, but boring uncle.

  • Wow...I can't believe Greg's show faded out.

  • For some reason greg kinnear reminds me of ryan seacrest here.

  • Who is the no-name weirdo introducing Phil? Ugh what a failed abortion of a man.

  • @MrGrevy its greg kinnear hes actually a pretty good actor, not really host material

  • oh my god.......thats the second snl star i only started to descover after his death....

even though i watched it alot!!!

  • Phil hARTMAN WAS AMAZING. I miss him. I know we all do. Thank you for posting this. I definitly appreciate him and his comedy now that I'm older. He was a brilliant actor/comedian

  • god this host was so lame

  • Never be another.

  • If Phil ever really opened a yogurt stand....I'd buy his yogurt.

  • What an applause. Goes to show you how popular he was.

  • I agree; he was indispensable.

  • his crazy cunt wife robbed us of quite a performer...

  • Too bad he married the wrong woman, deadly.

  • Hey Phil Hartman fans, Phil started a cartoon back in the 1970's called the Secret World of Edgar Screw Head, now in the works by Phil's brother Paul and friend John Paragon. It's really funny! Check it out on Facebook and have fun with it! Also, Google it to see the new live site! It'll be awesome having Phil Hartman's work back on tv again!

  • @dalemccartney thanks so much for that info homie. iv been on a phil hartman buzz for the past couple of weeks, and iv found myself watching the same vids over and over again. thanks man, some phil stuff i havent seen before will be nice to see :) peace out

  • @SoJuiceySoWeedy Anytime, man! I'll post occasionally to get the word out. Hope to see you on Facebook. Phil's brother is just as funny as Phil. Also, check out Phil Hartman for Walk of Fame while you're there. Next Friday, Sept. 24th is Phil's 62nd birthday and they want to kick off nominations for the Canada Walk of Fame. It's also the site for Phil's Hollywood Walk of Fame nomination. Take care man!

  • Phil Hartman is brilliant!

Anyway, I never watched this show, but the host seems to have done a pretty terrible job at picking up Hartman's cues. Phil was giving him loads of stuff to work with and the guy didn't know what to do with it...

    Hmmm.

  • phil hartman was a genius at comedy

  • God dang pig latin!!!!!

  • "Sexy"... He was insane.

  • 3:18 That made my day, cause I never heard of his little show.

  • What a legend. RIP.

  • One of the greatest, and most underrated, comedians that ever lived.

  • I love the John Wayne walk at 2:08

  • We miss you, Captain Carl!

  • Phil is dominating this douch... I didn't even know Kinnear had a show.

I guess his performance would explain it.

  • I can't believe no one got the "40 or 50 years in the business" joke. Obviously he's less than 50 in this clip. Man.

  • 5777675665456

  • phil did his best work on Newsradio imho.

  • Phil Hartman was the man, is the man and always, always, always be the man

  • greg kinnear is an insecure dick...

hartman is giving him great material... and four times he mentions -- are scared, worried, apprehensive of leaving your job. They even shoddily did a cut-away when the audience didn't respond to hartman's vulture joke...

phil should of just shot back... mate i'm sweet, buy reading todays 'wire' your shows approaching it's last chances

  • phil would have bin the best zapp branagin ever

  • In all honesty, he probably would have been Zapp Brannigan if he hadn't died.

  • @darkphoenix229 yep, that was the plan, and Fry's first name is Phillip after him, as well. Billy West does a decent Phil-style voice, I must say.

  • Curse his wife for killing him!!!

I miss him from the Simpsons, it would've still been a little funnier if Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz was still on the show.

  • This is 1994. Hartman is there to promote "Greedy" which was released that year.

  • Later with Greg Kinnear only ran from 1994-1996, so It has to be somewhere around there. I didnt watch all of the tape, but if Hartman mentioned a certain project, I guess you could tie it down on dates, if you really want to know. Great guy, tho.

  • What show is this?

  • Comment removed

  • What year was this? I so loved Phil....he was a pure genious. A true true talent. The world is less funny w/o him.

  • Phil Hartman left SNL in 94 and the movie he discusses in the clip from Later with Greg Kinnear is Greedy, which also came out in 94. Kinnear was only on air a little more than a yr and a half after this clip. He had no idea how famous he was going to be.

  • If you've ever watched Phil Hartman's impersonation of Clinton, you'll see that Hartman doesn't really sound like Clinton, but he does sound (and look) exactly like Tim McCarver ( the baseball commentator).

  • It's Jiji from ''Kiki's Delivery Service''

  • anyone know where i can find Phil Hartman's "Caveman Lawyer"? I LOVED that skit,

"ladies and gentleman of the jury,.... I'm just a caveman"

    lmao

  • Amen

  • Was a goodman. . .

  • R.I.P. Mr. Hartman

  • R.I.P. Phil Hartman

  • Either the audience for that show has ten people in it, or they're insane..they should have been busting up at that introduction! so funny! XD

Phil Hartman was one of a kind : (

  • I love you Phil Hartman! I miss you soooooo much! Brilliant talent and a dear sweet man.

  • RIP!

  • I loved his soylent green skits. "it's people! it's made out of people!!"

  • what show is this? kinnear had his own show?

  • Later was a talk show that appeared after Letterman (back when he was on after Tonight Show) and Bob Costas was the original host. Kinnear hosted for a while after Conan took over Late Night, and eventually the show evolved into Last Call with Carson Daly. Despite being way before my time, I remember seeing Costas episodes frequently.

  • thanks!

  • Gone but not forgotten.

  • RIP

  • "Have a little liquid personality..."

    LOL

  • Phil Hartman was great. my favorite S.N.L. skits he played as the perverted uncle? or babysitter? with a poloroid camera taking shots of young girls sliding down the banister backward, and of course, in the lord and lady douche bag skit. Can anybody provide me with a link to watch either or both? RSVP.!!! Phil was Great!

  • i think your thinking of buck henry

  • i love how he comes out after being introduced by greg kinnear, like the actors from long ago.

  • Much respect to Phil Hartman, and his awsome talent:)

  • Phil Rocked! Come watch him over here on NewsRadio.

  • apocalyptichybrid2, QUIT adveritising your videos.

  • What the fuck is that supposed to mean???

  • Same question as Hoochie2122. What on earth are you talking abouth YOUniverse2012......?

  • His wife shot him. He never had a drinking problem.

  • I miss Phil..irreplaceable

  • If there is anyone here who used to hang out on the Phil Hartman yahoo group board after his passing PLEASE get in touch with me. It's "T" and we all have some catching up to do! We should all make a pilgrimage to Catalina next spring, LOL! Hugs to you all, I miss ya!

  • I especially love, "Well why not, I'm in it!"

Phil, I bet you are making the angels laugh their wings off up there! Rest in peace! If you are fan of Phil like I am be sure to check out my comedy show, The Ray Rogers Show.

  • Nice tribute that, I fear, was a little ruined by schilling for your own show, mate...

  • joy juice,lmao

  • Go Phil Hartman with your bad self!!! I can see why Greg called him Renesscance Man because of how talented and nice and happy he was about living. It's a shame he isn't here anymore. He'd still be making us laugh.

  • He still IS making us laugh, even after all these years, is comedy is still timeless and classic.

  • You may remember me from such films as ...

    Classssssssssssic.

  • lmao

  • His voice in troy mcclure was amazing!

  • so thats why troy mcclure never came back again , he died

  • It's the air conditioner from "the brave little toaster" !

  • Great man such a shame.

I just read on Wikipedia that his wife shot him 6 times around the mouth with a revolver while he was sleeping then she went and confessed it to a friend and they went back to the murder scene and she shot herself in the temple.

  • So she killed herself too??? wow.. didnt know that..

  • wow didnt know unemployed people could use a computer

  • How does that half to do what I was saying..

  • nothing I'm sorry that was a dick thing to say i just snapped because i really fucking hate when people are sarcastic i was just sayin how she died

  • hahaha no problem man apalogy forgiven. yah didnt know she killed herself too.. Oh wells.. have a good day man.. =D

  • Whoa, honesty and understanding in youtube comments. Truly the dawn of a new age.

  • Phil was blessed by GOD! HE was GOD!

    He was AMAZING!

  • Please die, you festering crotchrot. You're a boil on the ass of the planet that needs to be popped.

  • I second that!

    Boil some balls asshole.

  • phil is just a beautiful man inside and out!

  • ICAM! His talent made him beautiful, and I always thought he was the best-looking guy I've ever seen on SNL, and I particularly have never found any comedian attractive, but Phil was very attractive, and he had the BEST voice!

  • oh for sure!

i personally have found others on SNL to be attractive too, but phil is up there on the top of the list

  • Phil is like #1 on my list of attractive comedians, there was just something about him...his personality was delicious, and he was genuinely FUNNY!

Loved his green eyes too, I think that's what attracted me to him the most.

And I must stress this out again...That VOICE!!! HOT DAMN! LOL! :D I miss him...:(

  • A great upload and tribute to this american comedian icon. It's a shame what happened to Phil, but he lives on through his amazing performances. Thanx for the Upload

  • I don't get why you have to say "American comedian." It really doesn't matter where he comes from.

  • To be more politically correct, Phil was a German-Canadian-American, and he will always be an icon in Canada and in America, he was living in America for a long time, so he's more American than Canadian really, but he has that Canadian kindness about him that really shined through, and I didn't realize he was from Canada until a couple of years ago.

  • thanks for uploading this video again!

this interview was sadly enough deleted a few months ago... best phil hartman video on youtube!

  • phil hartman was a god

  • I was about to say the same thing. If he wasn't a God, none exists. Hartman was brilliant, I miss him!!!!

  • He was just simply incredible, and if God truly did come in any form to Earth, it was in the form of Phil. When he died, all of us just kind of felt a sense of loss, and I've never been so heartbroken over a celebrity's death than I have over Phil's.

RIP Phil, we miss you always!!!
