@ryley92 Truthfully, how the hell does this effect you in any way? Sure you have to click on the next video but come on! You are already sitting down being lazy browsing YouTube. At least his videos are good. They are very easy to follow. Now if you are going to be a troll, please go somewhere else...
@DVDROM7788 Depends on how many cores and treads you have. I You have 2 ghz 1 core 1 tread then its pretty shitty. If you have 2 cores 4 treads its okay, if you have 4/8 cores/treads or more it pretty good.
Yes but you need also money to get a job (if you don't have you cannot go to work or to commute), you need live to give it again, the processors are improved by software tools working on machines having also processors, and so on...It's not funny, it's just a question of evolution of things.
@Godspart0n need the graphics card, also make sure you have a case... i forgot mine, i built it, and i didn't have a case to put it in:( but i got one and now i can play games, movies, in hd:) and then i sold and made 100$:)
could u tell me exactly wat u used in all of the videos about how to build a computer e.g. the processor model, the motherboard model name etc. thanks
First time building a PC and the info has got me worrying. Will an Asus P8H67-M EVO motherboard support an intel 2500K processor? And will overclocking affect this?
@BatchFileHelper Lol. I had already realized that 5 minutes after making my previous comment. In fact, i already have a list of computer parts I am building with and my motherboard doesn't have onboard video either.
-derp- I guess for a second I thought you needed to install the drivers for a video card b4 you could use it at all.
lol that probably isn't even the new board. what real games doesn't have a old motherboard lying around somewhere? Now person with half a brain will handle his new motherboard like that. So stop talking about that board hes holding.
@bradmecool it depends really, i managed to build a decent gaming machine, quad core, 4gb ram, 250gts graphics card. for £300 or $486. but my main pc cost me £1000 or $1620 to build. so it varies. for just a browsing the web pc u could probs put one together for about £150 - £200 or $240 - $330.
This is great stuff! I know how to build a computer but never really went into depth on what certain things like FSB was or what it did. I would just match up the socket and go with that. I did learn something today thanks to you!
Well why should he use a 500 dollar one? Installling a mothboard is not too easy. And as this is a turturial it would be stupid to risk an expensive one for it...simple go make a turturial with your 500 dollar one then..
@AlexTubed Don't worry dude you can fix it! Just break off the long pointy thing and then make a hole where the pointy thing use to be. Now you have a motherboard.
lol i was gunna say on the last video at all those people shitting themselves over how he handled that motherboard. one of the highest rated comments even pointed out how old it was. he clearly was using a disused one to demonstrate.

@patobond007 , nah! you should go to your local pc shop better selection, but you must be well informed since its possibly the most important part of your pc.
I hate the people who are saying 'The hardware is old' That isn't the point. It was made two years ago and although the hardware isn't very relevant the information sure as hell is.
@Sean62000 Pretty much.. the details (like what a good CPU speed is, amount of ram) may be off.. but the IDEAS and INSTRUSTIONS behind it are what's important.. right CPU socket.. compatible.. etc.
@Sean62000 Well the hardware is old now and was old 2 years ago but your right. Hes not going to spend a couple of thousand of dollars on hardware for a computer to just teach you how to build one. The main point is the information not the hardware. Bucky has a couple of very good computers and he probably never even used the one in these videos.
@Sean62000 Most people that say that are 13 year old kids who just learned what is inside a computer, so they think they know EVERYTHING about a computer.
@leafblowinSK8 for core i7 they took out the fsb for this new thing called QPI , QuickPath Interconnect. It like directly connects the cpu to ram. I think 1.6 ghz is fast for a normal fsb but qpi is double that.
In a few days i will upgrade my motherboard. but that is all im doing, im still going to be using the same OS from the drive. how will i go about installing the drivers for the motherboard. i know its alot easier to do fresh build with new OS, but i dont want to spent 200 on another OS when mine is fine.
so to recap: getting new mobo and cpu but using old drive with os already in it.
ok, so the parts need to be compatible with the motherboard, but do the parts also need to be compatible with eachother? i.e. CPU and RAM? or whatever, you get the idea.
no, jus make sure all the parts work with the motherboard itself. sometimes u'll see certain parts that only work with certain motherboards so u need to read descriptions on everything u buy
@kevinzawssum No the only parts that need be campared for compatibility (most of the time is the cpu+motherboard). the parts need to be compatible with thoughs 2 peices, they never intersect with each other
haha ;D Great Video(s) They are all very helpful (im new at this Assembly stuff.) tho some referances* to various products was expected (u dont have to advertise (i prefer you dont) but if you just could mention some products YOU (personally) trust, it would be nice. Asus or AMD or Whatevr !!! -> Motherboards) Thanks !!! :D
I like these tutorials. They're pretty well simplified. But you probably should quote brands. Otherwise, people are goign to have to look at more tutorials. you might want to elaborate on integrated video/audio too...
i was looking at an Asus Motherboard that said: " It features dual-channel DDR3 memory support and accelerates data transfer rate up to 5200MT/s via HyperTransport 3.0 based system bus." is that good?
i have a question btw i made a computer thanx to ur video, can i resuse a old dell precision workstation 360 for a mATX motherboard with 400watts psu and obiously new parts cpu, graphics card, ram and all of that in that case?
whats the best mother board

no, jus make sure all the parts work with the motherboard itself. sometimes u'll see certain parts that only work with certain motherboards so u need to read descriptions on everything u buy

@kevinzawssum No the only parts that need be campared for compatibility (most of the time is the cpu+motherboard). the parts need to be compatible with thoughs 2 peices, they never intersect with each other
