So dumb and so easily tricked..... The provision is about Hospice Care, which has been part of american healthcare for the last 20 years....

Hospice isn't about saving money for the government. I've worked at a hospice before. Its not cheap, people are on around the clock painkillers with 24-hour attendant nursing care.

@nhr215- Around the time of the passing of the healthcare bill, late 2009, NPR was running stories almost daily about how much it would save the country if elderly citizens weren't given the option of treatment in cases of cancer and other diseases, and instead were allowed to die.

It's hard for people to fathom that there's actually a segment, however small, of the Democrat party that believes in euthanizing people to save money, but it does exist. Europe already has this in place.
