The zither sounds more like a dan tranh. Is it really a guzheng?

guzheng is just the chinese name for dan tranh

Dan tranh have a kind of tinnier, more high-pitched timbre than guzheng.

At least that's my perception.

The Sounds of Yao - Mono-chord - which is high notes (Treble) seemed to (abit) over-power the Guzheng - which is more Base (than the Dan Tranh)

Therefore made us feel like more of the Dan Tranh - but if one is to listen again ... it is clearly a Guzheng and maybe even 25-28 String, which makes it covering more Base scales...

That is my view - And lovely water scenery - sound like in Ontario, CA to me
