  • Boring :o

  • I like the song reminds me of po po zao lol. Does it come out of the box that sharp? I got me one : ) i cannot wait.

  • That was not destruction LOL. That was use.

  • this guy dogged on t5id72j like a bitch for making a simple request

  • 5:53 the fuck kind of music is that?

  • I almost cried when it snapped

  • But that's not your destruction test is it

  • I don't see why there's such a lot of hate about the language, it's nice footage and all. My only complaint is that i thought the destruction tests were meant to see how much the knife could take and not how much everything else could take while being chopped at.

  • You're an idiot, keep the language the same as the title. Of your 15 thousand views I'm 100% sure that at least 10 thousand didnt watch this past hearing your first words. Just a waste of time

  • I don't speak French, but actions speak louder than words. That knife is awesome! Great video.

  • knew enouh french to follow but i had to watch it 3 times hahaha oo well thx for the vid and showing the breaking point, i know it wasn't cheap!

  • Bonjour, grande revue!

  • why couldn't you just give it to me? :(

    instead of destroying it

  • Why dont ESEE make all their knives with such good handle ergonomics as the Junglas has? This handle has the best handle of all their knives. The others are like holding a piece of 2x4 wood.

  • Couteau interessent.

  • @cobalt120 ,hey your French is very good .Are you from the French speaking side of Canada?Comment ca va?

  • My favourite knives. That Junglas is just f.....g awesome ,good ergonomic grip too.Together with the ESEE-5 and 3(what a slicer !).Then again a low priced VERY sharp Mora aint bad either.Merci beaucoup pour la video très bon ! (I hope it is not too bad my French ;-P)

  • putain il fais peur !!! ^^

  • The only thing I got out of the review was, Junglas and kydex. And he pronounced junglas wrong. But I don't know what else he said so I shouldn't complain. I still watched it all. And it was a good review

  • Nice video, but can you do it again in english or with english subtitles so I know what your saying?

  • @MonsieurFromLondon he was just asking.... typical rude ass french.

  • @MonsieurFromLondon ,you know how these rednecks are. They think that USA is the only country. But forget that other countries can nuke their greatest country in the world just as easy.Wankers ,thats what they are

  • @AlphaJohnson47

i was in Quebec last year and im from BC Canada.. and my bike broke downin a little town out side Montreal... so i went to ask directions to the closest repair shop.... i know they spoke English .. but they pretended they did not... the reason i know this is because once i found the repair shop about 2 hours later the owner told me they can and do ..... that's how alot of french are in Quebec... but alot of great french aswell... but i do agree with your statement..to a point

  • @renagade12 Well yeah, around montreal most of the people can understand english but still can't speak english further than ''yes no toaster''. And some people can't understand a word of english, but anyways. I'm just as mystified by that considering you can't get far in life without at least being bilingual...

  • @MonsieurFromLondon chill out french fuck face il go over there and beat ur french ass if you dont shut the fuck up.

  • @Knife4life123 ,fuck off imbecile.Show some respect you redneck fuckface

  • @MonsieurFromLondon LOL.

  • Thanks for writing the annotations in English. French is a beautiful sounding language BTW. That is a beat of a blade...thanks for vid!!!!

  • lol, its all french to me. nice review, good lighting, highly rust susceptable 1095 you should totaly duracoat it!!!

  • So i wrestled myself tru 6 and a half minutes of french just to see a glimpse of the mighty Junglas, i think i deserve to chop something with it at least one :p

  • god damn it i knew i should have taken french in high school.........lol at least i get a good look at the knife

  • @thedamned93 Thx bro - you can read the text below it's all in English, just for ya ;)

    Thanks for watching

  • @MonsieurFromLondon how well does that poweder coating hold up

  • @thedamned93 Surprisingly well actually. It's very strong and will hold on even after several batonning sessions. So it's no Cold Steel rubbish - it will wear out eventually though

  • cmon man if you do video in french dont do english titles

  • @MrZRX13 So sorry you fon't speak french!

  • @MonsieurFromLondon

Well MrZRX13 does have a good point. The title of your video is in english so anyone would understandably come to think that the video would be spoken in english....

To avoid confusion you should have called the title of the video "ESEE Junglas Destruction et essais de coupe" (I got that from an online english to french translation website, I do not know if its correct....).

  • Hi mate. If you you don't mind me asking, did you buy this in the UK and if so how much did it cost?. I'm trying to get one sent to Ireland.

  • @mupptastic Hello mate, no worries, I got this one in the UK, I am the Official Distributor for it ;) have a look at my channel and you shall find a link to my website. No probs for shipping to Ireland from here. Thanks for watching

  • @MonsieurFromLondon Excellent, thanks :)

  • Great video! I am a fellow RAT PACKER, and I really can't get enough of the

Junglas. It's a super chopper with great ergonomics, best of all it makes

    economic sense.

I like to watch your videos, even though I can understand very little.

    Sharpening up on my francais!!

  • @nutsforknives Thx for watching mate RP#597 is mine ;)

  • @J1982asmin Ca me fait plaisir ;)

  • Do they speak english in What? (just effen with ya. See Pulp Fiction)

  • Hopefully you will do a test on the ESEE 6 and for us English speakers perhaps consider le englais. Got myself a H.E.S.T and wonder when someone will test that. Good work MonsieurFromLondon.

  • great knife - just got one. great value and better made than the Ontario RTAK2 IMHO. It's all in the heat treatment by Rowan. Excellent survival package!!!!!

  • @sachsunkelt Thanks mate! Glad you like yours as much as I like mine :)

  • that knife is wihihihihicked, gotta get one myself, merci pour parler francaise, jaime le langue :)

  • @managarm1349 Thanks for your comment. Et merci de parler fransais aussi ;)

  • Thanks for the review and test, mate!

Nice video quality! Could you tell me a blade width on the Junglas please?

    Thanks in advance. Cheers!

  • @atokombeled It's roughly similar to the ESEE4 I would say 4mm

    Thanks for your comment

  • @MonsieurFromLondon

Thank you for the fast answer, but I meant width, not thickness. :)

I'm sure the Junglas is over 40mm in width, but exact data is needed for a

    custom project.

  • @atokombeled My bad mate. So it's 50mm or 5cm if you prefer. I hope this will help

  • @MonsieurFromLondon

    Thanks a lot!! ;)

I've been looking after this data for a while now... :)

    Thanks again!

  • I don't speak very much French but still a great video :)

    Very pretty knife ^_^

  • @ViolentKisses87 Thanks :D

I see it as learning French watching interesting vids ^^

  • seems like a great large blade this Junglas.though the tree hacking i would stick to an axe .way more effective.but i assume it was just for showing the chopping capability.but in total.. très bien ! :-)

  • the handle is too bold and big !

  • @bcv001 Cheers for the constructive comment. Do you own one? What do you prefer over this one?

  • @MonsieurFromLondon

sorry i don't have the junglas , i have the ESEE Lite-Machete and RC-4 ! the lite machete seems has the same handle as ur junglas , cox i have small size hand , the rc-4 is silm handle compare to the lite machete ! i am going to sand the handle on my lite machete , hope is will works better ! great vid , even i don't understand what u saying ,,,,,,,but u showed lots things !

  • @bcv001 Hey no probs, the Lite Machete's handle is actually a bit large for me too, so I know exactly where you're coming from. Having said that the Junglas handle is nothing like the Machete's and it fits my smallish hands very well.

    Thanks for watching

  • @MonsieurFromLondon

i personally prefer the cold steel handle , like trailmaster or scout ,,,,,,,,,,,fit my hand a little better ! but like the Junglas too ! cox i never had a chance get hold of the ontario TRAK II and its a well known work horse ! so ESEE should be better ! thank you !

  • hey I have this knife, but the 3 screws are lose, how can I tighten the screws? What tool do I need? Thanks bud.

  • @TheLonelyGhost You need allen keys to tighten them. I would also recommend a mild Locked IT (not sure of spelling) to keep them thight.

  • Thanks for the informative video dude. I wish the blade was 2 inches longer, but that's a small thing. Mille fois merci.

  • @032125 You're welcome mate. It's actually already pretty long, as long as a Busse BWM in fact!

  • Another great video.

  • @deceptivepanther Thx man

  • @SemperFi2a Merci beaucoup SemperFi2a. T'es un Marines Corse? lol

  • @MonsieurFromLondon Oui, comment tu as deviné?? lol !!!!

  • The sheath looks to be a tremendous improvement on the crappy RTAK-II sheath. (I've yet to take the heat gun to the plastic insert on mine to meliorate the retention.) Although some might miss the front pouch on the cordura version (permanently keep a SOG PowerLock in mine), I personally think the trade-off is more than warranted with this design.

    ---

Are the handles on the Janglas exactly the same thickness and girth as that on the RTAK-II?

    ---

btw man, I'm loving the layout on your videos

  • @elpidi0526 The sheath is unbelievable. You would expect to have this on the custom market for over $100. They will be optional pouches that will be mountable on the Kydex, like this you keep the storage facility but get a dry blade instead of one stewing in damp cordura!!

I never held a RTAK II but the handles aer slimmer than the machete and probably as thick as the one from a ESEE 5 or ESEE 6.

Thx for the layout but I need to improve my editing skills to match yours, they are great!

  • @mrfrogg91 hey hey welcome back!

  • Thats a very nice package and blade. did you do the destruction test? or from ESEE? that is a very flexible blade. What would be more interesting to know is how much flex it can take before it takes a set. Its a good spec'd blade from what I can see. the shape looks good too. Where is the balance point on the blade?

  • @knivesandstuff The destruction test was done by ESEE at the Rowen factory. I forgot the balance damn! I will take a pic a send it to you but it's probably 1 cm in fron of the handle so not bad at all.

  • @MonsieurFromLondon Ok. I'd expect a chopper to be around 1-2" in-front of the hand position. 1cm would make it around 1" from the first finger. Should feel quite light in the hand for camp chores then.
