Have you ever been to one? It's not exactly true. One could say the same thing about Dog shows. I went to my first, and only one a few months ago.(The reason which I bought a pure-bred cat) And I thought it was great. I agree, some of the owners were kind of stuck-up, but that's at all kinds of shows, no matter what it is.

It's a great way to meet breeders, and to talk with other cat owners. So, not so boring, atleast not for me.

And the pedigree cats that are there are from reputable breeders who only put one litter a year.
