La pronunciacion deja mucho que desear, y la afinacion tambien. Si eres contratenor, te recomiendo dedicarte al repertorio destinado para contratenor. Este Lied suena extragno con esa voz, totalmente fuera de estilo.
@lewars1912 Yeah, umm it's not meant to sound natural, it's guy singing in a flasetto tone. Interesting and pretty rare, but I didn't favourite either.
Lovely instrument. Keep singing whatever you feel is right for your Countertenor voice. Any suggestions to the contrary are ridiculous. I would suggest that you look for more vocal and textual subtlety in this piece. There are many nuances you could explore if you were to choose. Thomas Quasthoff's performance is a great example of what I mean. His video is on YouTube as well. All the best.
You have an awesome, greatly motivated talent that comes from Angels. I personally thank you for sharing this wit the world. I wish you most glorious spirit. Best Wishes, Tyler
First of all, congratulations. I think that the rhtym is slower than that and I think you may spend a little more time with your "I-e" vowels it sounds as it is too soft.I hope you'll get even more succesful.
Ayer 03 de Octubre José Antonio Maza Lopez ha fallecido. Es un pérdida irremplazable desde el punto de vista artístico, pero desde el punto de vista humano no creo que seamos capaces de superarlo. BESOS
I think this person means with "straight tones" a lack of any vibrato. You need some natural level of vibrato otherwise the tone sounds harsh -- particularly when a man sings in that range.
lol falsetto, not flasetto (one of my beter typos I think)

I dont like someone sings with half-voice.
And by the way ..most of the counterTenor are gays..
I have no problem with it ,but is very strange to hear a man singing (or trying) to sing like a womans ,Or the worst thing trying to sing as a womans.
I really dont like. And i have a lot of study about music.
My point is:a man should sing like a man.
Ex :Try to hear the music...nessum dorma .
Ist for man ,with full voice even if who sings is a baritone or tenor. This music is for mans.
