Are you basing that on this small, undersampled, low resolution video created on an old, slow computer that was barely scraping along at 20 frames per second? At least with X-plane I can edit that 747, change it to 8 turboprops, extend the wings 20 feet, and see what happens! (maybe I could make a movie of it taxiiing futilely up and down a runway...)

No, I used to have X-Plane, I have FSX now, I have been in a 747 cockpit and I switched because FSX's cockpit was much more realistic. Yes, all Flight Sims are really good because they are fun, but if you are looking for a really realistic Flight Sim go for FSX. That's all I am saying. Thx for the feedback- I really like editing and creating planes- does FSX do that? I have never used it. I enjoy cranking up the atmospheric conditions and trying to land my constellation in bad weather- not horribly worried about the interior modeling, TBO. More into how it flies. is FSX better in that respect?
So when did you start hating x-plane? was it when you read about how x-plane uses real physics and is certified by the FAA to train pilots? Glad you liked it, I had a hoot making this. Got the idea from a Calvin and Hobbes comic where Calvin imagines himself as the captain, terrifying his passengers in a 747. I had to keep pushing the nose down, finally realized afterwards that I had left the flaps down a bit. Oh well!
