  • There are techno tracks and there are Red Planet tracks. This is a Red Planet track. One of the best techno tracks of all time. Period.

  • Turn the volume up at 4:17

  • Midnight Club 3 Dub edition

  • 4:59 beam me up scotty

  • amazing, great techno

  • When I leave this mortal coil I want my friends to be flying high on Stardancer. Mad Mike....done.

  • red planet is the most soulfoul techno label in the world !

  • patator !!!!!!!! ;)

  • fucking techouse !! yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • @jormas29

I don't usually bitch about genres, but if you think this is techouse I'm afraid that you are wrong in the highest order. This.Is.Proper.Techno. That's all.

  • Wipeout.

  • The very essence of deep music which has no meaning but a hell of a lot of feeling.... Respect to the masked one... Mr Mad Mike..... This trak reinvented the way so many of us live our lives without ever realising it...... Powerful...

  • De lo más blando que escuché viniendo de UR. Pero aún así, siguen haciendo que ame Detroit. ¡Os quiero! ¡Nunca paréis!

  • @cenutrio07 EAH! Detroit a huevo!

soy uno de los pocos mexicanos que conocen eneros como este

  • i wonder if these artists with such "curious" names were actually

higher beings taken human form to help

us and tell us of the cosmic neighborhood :B

    ;D

  • @BLACKESTEREST YES!!! ;D

  • phenomenal

  • GENIAL POUR TOUJOURS

  • First heard Dave Angel play this out in a festival in Bristol. blew me away completely!!

  • Listen to this at full blast on youtube and your computers sound system

  • God, I miss the 90's.

  • The bassline is classic techno trance I think Vapourspace was the first to use it on Gravitational Arc of 10. Bubadum bubadum

  • In the Fast and the Furious is the bit at 5:40 and onwards in this when it is race wars and Bryan and Dom's sister are argueing?

  • When the super reverbed flange peaks at 5:40, and those deep pulsing sounds return.......

wow...a fusion of mind and soul im sure..

  • Mad Mike+UR+ Red Planet= Dancing with stars. This is simply......incredible.

  • Could someone upload techno symphonic in G by The Martian? Found a sample of it on the submerge site and it BLEW ME AWAY! I plan to buy out their entire stock one day dammit....

  • kokopelli :D i got one one on my back

  • The best song ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is one of the tracks that you actually have to hear outside of a liveset to have an appreciation for what goes on in this track. Not many tracks can say that.

  • I LOVE IT ááááááááááááááááááááááááááááááááááááááá(L) :D

  • Massive - Huge - Interstellar of a track played by the likes of Colin Dale and Dave Angel....

  • i actually like the intro the best:P

  • hered it ones in "UNIVERSAL TECHNO" documentary by ARTE - france tv, good piece oftechno music. Also there wasacommentby Mike Banks about white and black and red people, about relations between them and suffer. Mike ilove your music. i do care and respect the past times and when i listen to detroit techno im turning into a black man - respect

  • i just like the song from midnight club 3 dub edition remix fun to kick ass with

  • bassline sounds like the one from Sync In

  • textbook classic

  • Only the bassline now gives away its age but oh what a TUNE.

  • dunno bout that its a bouncy bassline ( technical term ha ha) still being used today in one form or another

  • for ultimate raver¨! The story...

  • First heard this played by Dave Angel at Tribal Gathering ....blew the house!!

  • temple of sound, dublin 1994. paddy gallagher and billy scurry DJing. best days ever. playing this and the place exploding - one of the greatest tracks of all time . love it.

  • Absolutely, the Temple of Sound in that time was unreal. Double doves, trays of fruit, standing on the ledge on the lower dance floor in another world.... great times.

  • You sir, should know better..the best part of TOS was getting a taxi, back to howth, to the summit, for a quiet smoke looking out over the ledge, nearly fell over those cliffs many a night,, link me some stuff fella, i need some beats.

  • Follow that track with what ?????

  • Silent Breed - Sync In

  • there's an extra note in stardancer, but i wouldn't doubt that the sound stardancer creates inspired sync in's bassline, especially as more parts come into the mix & that extra note gets crowded outta the mix

  • The Flow,, Model 500, Underworld remix, mk 2,, which took the original, stripped it down and made it a footstomper, typical Underworld,, and it is peak time,, Detroit/London crossover, and done well, not for the pursits, though, but purists can stand at the back of the club, the real shit is happpening on the floor, this mix was limited to 500 copies, so it is hard to get, but really top quality stuff.

  • Sounds like a classic...

  • waaaaay before its time...

  • This track is beautiful reminds me of when I started listening to techno.

  • 303 love 909...and i love it

  • Yeah, it really is probably the best techno/ underground resistance kinda one. I agree, amazing with proper bass, the way it's felt first before the strings. No one has uploaded Dr Blowfin's experiment, yet, mixed very well on a Dj Rolando cd with this, Aztec Mix I think.

  • Power.

  • no tune can ever bring the memories like this 1, the sweat drippin off the walls, the E floatin through your brain, the pure pleasure

  • I'll second that emotion!

  • Mad Mike at his best... :P

  • Year?

  • 1993

  • I've never heard this before. Wow. Just wow.

  • Nice one TD forgot bout this till ya pointed me the right way....... I was lost but now im found RIPPPPPERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If Richard Branson of `Virgin` fame does what he says & starts doing trips to space & if I win the lotto then I`m off to space on one of his flites & this trak shall be playing on my walkman (walkman for a bit of a retro vibe n ting)..Mars, Space here we come....

  • Only person I ever heard play this in a Club was Sir Laurent Garnier in Sir Henrys, Cork, Eire, & me & my older brother fucking flipped the script as they say, a memory I willst never forget...smell the sweat (& looks of concern of the Bouncers as we punched each other in a a jovial techno manner)..a hurr hurr..but fucking AAAAAAA!!!.GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....

  • So many great artists while hearing the UR label titles.

This one from Mike Banks is my favourite among all the productions. Blend of techno, trance and urban mentality.

  • best techno track ever made. still drives me to tears after 16 years . pcpat

  • I Agree, This the Oxfordwhateva definition of Techno in my book...you can write a million gazillion words re: this trak but you can never fully describe it to someone unless they heard it its fullest format..nearly blowin ya eardrums off/out in a niteclub...Sir M.Mikeus..take a well desrved bow...R`Spek....Truth in Ja Muzak somehow/where..

  • Rip the fuckin roof off.........

  • first heard this at the cosmic night in the basement at leisure lounge in holborn, london

think it was cisco ferrera playing at the time and it blew me away. love that dark hypnotic sound. good one to lose yourself in. got 3 copies of this. played it in a set and doubled them up with a quarter beat delay. place went mad. top tune for me.never let go!!!

  • All time fave track...without a shadow....totally punk.

  • Great observation, toatally punk, dont sound like nothin that can be pigeonholed into some deep techno arsehole genre trance heavy easy listening for physco heads but just a mad track for folk of same type of thought..end of the world song but with hope.....

  • was my favourite techno track for a very long time. when it came out it was peerless however check mr fingers stars... great reference material all the same. still a BIG tune

  • Do you think you could upload "Share your feelings"?

  • Man! I just came on this video to say the exact same thing, and your comment is the most recent one. freaky coincidence;) I love that song! It has the same base melody as "That's what I get" by Nine Inch Nails, and "Take you on a cruise" by Interpol.

  • Dont cha mean they have the same bassline as this (if correct?)

  • I only know of the Martian through that Midnight Club game, if you know what I mean. I've tried to find it on the internet, but it seems like the most obscure band ever;)

  • Hah, Really? Huh, that's quite odd. XD Oh? It did? Huh, I gotta get a chance to listen to those tunes. ^^ Ah? Same here, Midnight Club 3 was the first time I learned about the Martian, but I too tried to look him up over the Internet and he/the band only shows up under Midnight Club 3, I want that song soooo badly, I found it on limewire once, but it turned out to be a broken file, which was,.... yeah. DX

  • yeah! thanks to midnight club Xd i got to know this artist

  • Indeed, that's the beauty of games sometimes, when they have good music, it introduces new Artists you've never heard of before. ^^

  • very UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE first heard this track if my memory serves me correctly on COLIN FAVOR'S show on KISS 100 FM back way BACK IN THE FUTURE/PAST. it was in a mix provided by none other than detroit's own BLAKE BAXTER a guest artist on colins show it was a very sweet MIX.
