Compressor surge only happens under boost. Not off boost, i.e lifting off the throttle. You'll only get compressor suge on HIGH boost applications. Not on somthing running only 14-18 even 20lb's of boost. People need to get over this whole "compressor suge" phenomenon.

obviously youve never ran a turbo, compressor surge is terrible for your turbo because it forces the blades to spin backwards wearing out the bearings making your turbo not good anymore.
you have obviously never heard a greddy type s performing correctly....watch other videos of greddy type s and see if any of them sound like this....this sound is compressor surge resulting from the spring being adjusted too tight, do some research as this is not a greddy type s functioning properly

You got the line hooked up to the wrong nipple on the BOV. all your hearing is the Air escaping out the compressor of the turbo itself. BAD!!! Open your hood and rev the car up and listen to it. Put ur hand infront of the BOV and see if any air comes out of the BOV. All your hearing is turbo flutter. can damage the turbo big time. Your BOv isn't even opening. Test it and let us know.
@antmansohcvtec People alwasy have a misconception about turbo flutter as they think it makes the blades spin backwards but its actually never been proven that it in fact does that and in turn to casue damage to your turbo. A bov in most cases people just think it sounds cool, an internal wastegate is much safer

not really I bought the valve in 2004 it's a real authentic Greddy Type-S. Watch some of my other videos if you want to hear the valve without me intentionally making it go off 50 times in a 40 seconds.
I've since adjusted it but it's still sounding similar. This was the best spot to keep it at to prevent it from leaking on a boost leak test at 20psi. I over exaggerated the hits by goosing the throttle before each shift for the video. It isn't that "exhausting" lol with normal driving.
