It could, but it would be nearly impossible. We'd have to pass some kind of law, making it illegal for a family to have more than one child. This won't be easy; especially because a bunch of whiny little twats will start complaining about how their rights as humans are being violated.

But there are too many of us. Something has to happen that will kill off a bunch of us. We either need another Holocaust, or a major epidemic; one that will kill millions.

@pinheadman665 If we do not control our numbers humanely (international restriction on number of children allowed) these are out options which are fueled by overpopulation: war, epidemic, natural disaster, famine. We simply need to spread the word and make educational material on this subject available to those who are interested. Raise awareness.

Yeah, why not populate and infest every acre of land with houses, shopping/recreational centers, hospitals, prisons, slaughterhouses, transportation modes, traffic jams, trashes, and all else. The rest of the world would be free...from sanity and existence. ;D If the population can't control itself, too bad it will be controlled. Having less or no children and raising awareness about it is a very sensible thing to do.

Nice reminder. An even better option: no children. :) People who make more than 2 kids should be neutered :D or should pay double the taxes. 1 child is enough, 2 is reasonable for those who happen to have twin. They neuter pets, when will they start on people? Even with the knowledge and understanding that the more mouths to feed, the more problems and suffering, people of all breed, creed, social status still enjoy making more babies then killing each other daily.

The majority of people don't see, don't even care to see and change. As for those who do, I wonder how they manage not to get so tired and fed up of caring over time. O well, when unfortunate events occur, whether man-made or natural, nature will have to take its course. ~_~ Living responsibly is the most one can do.

Very good video. Very good point. Way too often overlooked or ridiculed by closed minds. Being aware of overpopulation and wanting to deal with it constructively and respectively is the real way to be philanthrophic!!! Not taking a stand and raising this as an issue is the real immorality!! People are suffering over this, animals, all of nature... it's horrid and makes no sense at all... :(
