@ryubaks Are people still going on about that? We know that Sonic 4 was lackluster, you don't have to keep mentioning it. In fact, some people say that Sonic Colors is the true successor to Sonic 3K after all these years. Doesn't that mean that Sonic Colors is what Sonic 4 should've been? :O

I've tried a variety of different things, but this was done with FRAPS, I now use a hardware capture card in my newest video game videos, the knytt playthrough, the netplaythroughs, the Sonic Jam footage and TF2 were all on hardware capture straight off my graphics card or real console hardware.

Pretty sure Tweaker (SonicTweaker on youtube) did the level music for final fall zone, and the special stage music is from Sonic 3D Blast for the Saturn. That's about all I know.

@Darkshadow2002 i think it's formed with another project under the name of sonic nexus. to make a game that has the story of xg but some of the levels from the other projects to make one combined super project. but don't worry, doomsday and final fall will still be in it.

Nope, this is a PC game. For a short while it had an incomplete port to the Dreamcast, if memory serves, but that may be another game.

The project has not ceased at all, there was an interview with the Taxman done before your comment, you ca find in on many sonic hack sites and at sonicstadium.

Taxman said in the interview that the first half of the game (six zones) is going to be realesed this year. That interview was a few months ago so the first half of the game will probably be released at sage, at the end of this month.

InCREDIBLY impressive work, seanieb64. I question a few choices regarding the sound (namely the alternate Doomsday Zone theme), but good GRIEF did you do well with this thing. I look forward to its final release, but take your time to give us all a quality game. Very, very good!

This just proves that it's really not that difficult to make another 2D Sonic game that's as good as the old ones...as much as I love most of the new ones (like Rush and Unleashed), I want more retro Sonic like everyone else!! Still, nice job on this though, looks awesome. :D
