I'm not going to complain about this guys masher. My Mordecai uses a combination of 4 weapon types, Shotgun, Sniper, Revolver, and of course the lesser used SMG for the incredibly rare times I need to Second Wind off of something while my revolver is reloading. The reload time on most Revolvers that are 2 shots is pretty good and most of the time I stick with it, rather then switching to the SMG, but it's good to have the SMG when you run up against something that resists normal damage.

One question what is the sole perpose for the "Berserker" i mean all he does is do more rocket/melee damage? Like the "Siren" has fast speeds, the "Soldier" has team stats which main perpose are help to the other players, and even the "Hunter" has the trespasser perk which allows you too break through shield plus has the scavenger perk so the enemies drop better/more loot!
@ironhero3 The Berserker is the ultimate tank. at level 5 "Unbreakable" allows the Berserker's shield to replenish itself to 75% of its maximum capacity in 5 seconds. This perk also resets itself every time your shield is fully recharged once again. Now if you were to put two more points into unbreakable with class mods your shield would recharge up 100% of it's capacity in 5 seconds, at level 9 it recharges 135%. You basically have a potentially never ending shield.
@HALOGAMER13371 revolvers are like shotguns but no spread and lower fire rate. kind of like a desert eagle. but still shotguns are cool but yeah dont count out revolvers.

@HALOGAMER13371 yes. there is. crawmerax is ALWAYS 4 levels above you. he can be up to level 70 something. forgot. and if youve played all the DLC's maybe you just suck at the game and havnt gotten to level 69 yet. either that or your just fucking stupid overall.
@TheUSASpy being unable to obtain experiance was a well known glitch. it was patched but only for new games. this happened to me. My first Mordacai cant get past level 56. also crawmerax has a max level of 72 min level 64. the 3 little ones have max level 70.

@TheUSASpy no problem. Also for pistols I use anarchy nemesis. machine pistol dam 330x3 accuracy 80 (about that) fire rate 6.something. Of the three bullets 1 does x3 shock and another does x3 corrosive. Combined with Bricks Centaurion class (increase team magazine size 50% bringing the clip to 60ish rounds) and his skill that increases fire rate and reload speed after a kill. That's one helluva pistol!
@mahziel i use a mix cause things get boring. my mordecai has a crimson lance sniper, an explosive sniper that says I LIKE IT on it. a corrosive machine pistol because again, things get boring. my most powerful gun is a shiny golden ggn skull smasher dropped from crawmerax that does well past 1000 considering it does more then my lance which is 1100 and something. i keep modded weapons just in case of something very annoying like rakk or if im in a hurry to a place.i also have a load of eridians
@TheUSASpy I didn't say I only use pistols. just that is the pistol I use. "I Like It" simply means x3 explosive with slightly larger area of effect. my anarchy nemesis is also pearlescent. modds are for losers and eridian are neither good nor rare.
Suprisingly well playing as Brick I found a regen masher at 400x7 for level 69. So combine that with a Common Man mod and your good. Also being a 69 level character with that robot dlc helps the weapon challange.
I got a revolver from killing the secret boss in the armory of general knoxx that basically one hit kills everything (so the seven bullets is a moot point considering it takes less then a second to reload), and not a single sniper rifle at all, fuck yea!
I know this vid was posted awhile ago so Secret Armory wasnt out, but i have a nasty "Savage Masher" its a jakobs with like 460 some dmg x7, dropped from crawmerax, with 89 accuracy too, things a freakin beast, im a Siren, and its still my fav weapon.

Why does everyone say that he is modding? I'm pretty sure he's not modding. And even if he is, it isn't in a way that would affect the legitimacy of this video....Mashers are just really damn powerful. If you don't believe me, try using one.
I haven't played in awhile but about halfway through my first playthrough with Mordecai, I found a revolver that fired two shots, was orange rarity, and had a 4 for it's explosive rounds. It also regenrated ammo. After I found it, it was the only gun I used pretty much through playthrough one and all of playthrough two.
@shadowuvintent Erupting Equalizer? I'm not exactly sure if that's the right name, but I would imagine if it had a x4 explosive ability, that would be right. Wish I could see the stats on that.
@itrdersaccounts hunter's are ok the soldier is probably the best starting class if you havn't played many FPS i'd say go for that. Personally the siren(lilith) is my favorite especially after you get a hellfire just start burning stuff to death

@sloi123 You should get the secret armoury of general knoxx DLC, you can get 350x7 or higher mashers from Crawmerax, but if you wanna beat him i'd advise a hacked shield and a hacked weapon. Good Luck on the new DLC if you get it man.

@Dragonaught2001 In order to answer that, you gotta know that a Masher is a revolver that fires pellets, like a shotgun. 261 is the damage that each pellet does, each shot fires 7 pellets.
@Dragonaught2001 It means the revolver will fire 7 bullets worth 261 damage each, for a grand total of 1827 damage per shot. What makes Mashers great is the high accuracy of the revolver: because of this, there's a fairly good chance 5-7 of those bullets will hit the target, and if you aim for a critical location, that means a huge amount of damage inflicted on your target.

0:30 A Maliwan Defiler would have took that guy down on less shots.
Mashers are not that good, and crimson lance have dmg reduction per hit, so on multiple hits that kind of weapon is not really efective.
Of course, the best of all masher, the Jakobs Skullmasher sniper, is just awesome to farm crawmerax: 1 hit per weak point and the big guy is done.

I know this vid was posted awhile ago so Secret Armory wasnt out, but i have a nasty "Savage Masher" its a jakobs with like 460 some dmg x7, dropped from crawmerax, with 89 accuracy too, things a freakin beast, im a Siren, and its still my fav weapon.

An elemental masher is, unfortunately, not possible.
Perhaps someone in the modding community has made something similar, if not exactly like this, I don't know...
Borderlands 2 could incorporate them, albeit with less base damage to compensate for the elemental effect. Now THAT would be sweet...

Why does everyone say that he is modding? I'm pretty sure he's not modding. And even if he is, it isn't in a way that would affect the legitimacy of this video....Mashers are just really damn powerful. If you don't believe me, try using one.

I haven't played in awhile but about halfway through my first playthrough with Mordecai, I found a revolver that fired two shots, was orange rarity, and had a 4 for it's explosive rounds. It also regenrated ammo. After I found it, it was the only gun I used pretty much through playthrough one and all of playthrough two.

@itrdersaccounts hunter's are ok the soldier is probably the best starting class if you havn't played many FPS i'd say go for that. Personally the siren(lilith) is my favorite especially after you get a hellfire just start burning stuff to death

@itrdersaccounts revolvers are pretty great lol i love my pestilent defiler on my siren. 2.5x zoom 500~ish dmg 4x corrosive elemental chance its pretty awesome specially when you mix it with phoenix

fake stop vid at 0;15 the gunslinger second row is missing any way hes on computer so it would be easyer to hack also the fact that u get one talent point every lvl the first main one that give u ur special is lvl 10 i added it up and to get his ups he needs lvl 55 he is only lvl 50. also at lvl 36 i never heard of a gun that does 261x7 the weapone is lvl 36 how do you believe that any way heres another reason the blood wing gets lvl 6 ability (0;13 top left) at lvl 55 this is all fake.

@TheNuketrooper the weapon exists and i have same ammount off points i puased the video and counted he has 45 skill points the weapon is a rare 1 that has low chance off dropping on 2 playtrough you can get youre skill to lvl 6 so get youre false comments and delete them

@sloi123 You should get the secret armoury of general knoxx DLC, you can get 350x7 or higher mashers from Crawmerax, but if you wanna beat him i'd advise a hacked shield and a hacked weapon. Good Luck on the new DLC if you get it man.

@Dragonaught2001 In order to answer that, you gotta know that a Masher is a revolver that fires pellets, like a shotgun. 261 is the damage that each pellet does, each shot fires 7 pellets.

@Dragonaught2001 It means the revolver will fire 7 bullets worth 261 damage each, for a grand total of 1827 damage per shot. What makes Mashers great is the high accuracy of the revolver: because of this, there's a fairly good chance 5-7 of those bullets will hit the target, and if you aim for a critical location, that means a huge amount of damage inflicted on your target.

Not really because they keep on upping the lvl max so you have to keep on finding new and better weapons. His lvl 50 masher is very outdated. Soon the lvl max is gonna be at lvl 71 i believe.
