The only two groups today that I know of who have retain that aqeedah are the Athari and Salafi. I do not belong to any groups, I took sahadah 10 months ago and have "chilled" with Muslims from many groups and schools. But I know you that this methodology is the soundest. And the others are full of desire, while some completely disregard aqeedah altogether such as Tablighi Jamaah.

Anyone who denies or reinterprets the attributes of Allah (swt) has left the correct aqeedah. They follow desire and misguidance. The aqeedah of the sahaba is/was to accept and affirm the attributes of Allah (swt) without giving similitude to anything in the dunya. Whenever Muhammad (saws) said anything about Allah (swt), the sahaba accepted it and did not add their own interpretation, neither did they ask Muhammad (saws) to reinterpret for them.
