I red about this volleyball style in my country. There is very hard to find women which want to play, becouse after car crash or something else womens whitch lose their leg don't wanna play. Only want to be at home...

1. a lot of amputees can stand on one leg...

2. paralympic volleyball can be played by amputees, as well as people with cerebral palsy, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries.

@ScoopShot2008 I've played old fat farts who can't move on a sitting volleyball court. If you don't hit the ball at them they can't do a thing. So no not really good if you can't move. We also played the Austlaian women's able bodied team as a warm up to Paralympics in 2000 and beat them because they couldn't move. IE skilllful and skinny!!!

I know in wheelchair rugby they have different numbers of 'classes' of players and can't go over the set limit. So players could be have fully functioning legs and little to no function in the arms (like the middle from the Netherlands who only had one arm). Could be the same idea?

the problem with disabled sports is the advantage of the least disabled. even though its sometimes a battle of technique vs ability (active muscle groups) which can be beautiful and inspiring, it was one of my main reasons for quitting wheelchair tennis despite having won tournaments (in israel)
