@bigmace1000 : Probably. I think Larry Holmes is one of the most underrated champions ever, but I think he probably would have given Ali some trouble even in his prime because of his strength and his long jab. It would have been a nice fight to see.

I'm not sure brother. At 1:44 you can see the green WBC belt being aloft by a member of Holmes' entourage. And it was in this fight with Ali that Holmes won the Ring Magazine title, which had been vacant since Ali's retirement in 1978.
