Best of luck to the guy, 4.3's blazing speed - not going to guess as to the accuracy of that but if he's running that, damn. Not sure how he'll fare though, looks pretty small. Athletes like this are so dominant in high school but the size might be an issue if he keeps advancing. Speed alone can't really carry him. It'd be really unfortunate for him to take some hits from bigger guys and get put out.

Some of this video is against the 3 time defending state Champion..... Daingerfield TX. Last year they produced 7-8, D-1 players (Steve Edmond, Keyarris Garrett, Tyler Boyd,etc) . So that's pretty good competition. Texas football, in the playoffs, is always good competition.

Out of the potential 25 athletes we sign each year, we're lucky to get 1 to 2 all state guys, we focus less on what you did in high school. We evaluate based on what we think your potential would be at the next level. That's how come we give out college rankings while youre still in high school. Most kids make 1st team LONG after we've made our offers so we can't focus on that. Best of luck to the kid!

He realistically can only potentially be recruited as an inside receiver. He's too small for running back, he can possible be a cornerback as well. But hey he is very fast and quick thinker and light on his feet. has that one cut ability and if he puts on weight and can keep his speed, expect some calls with real interest. Just know that at the D-1 level alot of the missed tackles and arm tackles can/will turn into loses. As far as the Safety position goes I cant really judge him on that because the position needs more of a sample size from snap till whistle blown. Good luck kid!

One problem I see right off the bat is his size. He is small and while other small backs have succeeded they are the exception, not the rule. Plenty of small backs get lit up once they go D-1. Another problem is that he plays 2A/3A ball just judging on the talent and you have to be extremely successful there to be recognized. Scouts will probably recruit him to be a slot receiver if he can catch out of the backfield. He wont survive as an in between the tackles back.
