@valmen11 Not everyone is sweet. I think there's more to see if you go to the South of VN. The northern cities are more peaceful, also more boring. If you go to Hanoi (the capital), don't stay for too long. Just stay for a few days and board a train to HCM City. The train in VN is rly rly slow compared to ur SNCF but the great thing about it is that though u have to stay on the train for like a whole day, u can see everything from the North to the South along the way. Truly beautiful.

everytime i hear this song it brings tears to my eyes. I miss vn so much if we have lost that war we would have lost our culture, our roots, and we would just be another product of american capitalism. The communism community is yes not right at times but at the same time it is not completely wrong. Vietnam is thriving but it's been a long way because of the setbacks of the war. My mother's told me many stories of the war and her experiences. This song is close to my heart now and tears. =)

I have been to Vietnam only 2 times and I don't think I'll be back there again. If VN could "change" then I might change my mind. My dad was fighting in the VN war too. He was captured and put in jail.

Lol, désolé de jetter un cailou dans votre mare d'adoration. C'est vraie qu'elle n'est pas mal cette chanson.Mais soyons un peu critique quand même. Vous ne trouvez pas que c'est quand même un peu cul-cul. N'oubliez pas que c'est Lavoine qui l'a écrit et QA n'est qu'une interprète. everytime i hear this song it brings tears to my eyes. I miss vn so much if we have lost that war we would have lost our culture, our roots, and we would just be another product of american capitalism. The communism community is yes not right at times but at the same time it is not completely wrong. Vietnam is thriving but it's been a long way because of the setbacks of the war. My mother's told me many stories of the war and her experiences. This song is close to my heart now and tears. =)

I agree... I've been to Vietnam, many times. They're improving, but I won't say it's the best thing. :\ Obviously "proud2bDemocrat" is brainwashed under "communist" ideas. I could say a lot, since half of my family had to do so much to get out of that country during the war...

I have been to Vietnam only 2 times and I don't think I'll be back there again. If VN could "change" then I might change my mind. My dad was fighting in the VN war too. He was captured and put in jail.
