For those who are wondering why this song isn't on iTunes and why it's not listed on Grow Up and Blow Away, here's your answer: it was on the original 2001 release of the album, but was not put on the rerelease in 2007. It makes me sad- this is one of my favorites and I wish it wasn't so hard to find a copy of it. :( I'm sure I could find hundreds of ways to get it illegally if I really wanted to, but Metric is too good a band to cheat like that. <3

Although, I really love all Metric, I am mad about this version of Metric. Static Anonymity, Mainstream, and Grow Up and Blow Away are the greatest. 'The Twist' is how I really got into Metric. I love Fantasies and all, but they deserve much more recognition for songs like 'White Gold', 'The Butcher', 'The Twist', and 'On The Sly'. Aside from my ranting and raving, LONG LIVE METRIC!

It is on the original unreleased version of the album that they made years ago. You can find it in some downloading places.

I understand it was cut from the actual official release of the album in 2007 because the band stated that they didn't feel the older songs (including this one) really represented what they were about.
