  • It hurts to see you in so much pain. There is no reason to apologize to anyone for being who you are. If you haven't found the channel for Videokidsam yet, you should. He ponders all sorts of gender issues at length in his journey to figure out who he is. You are not alone hon, there are lots of us who have pondered these questions and overcome the animosity of our culture. Find a local trans support group you like - it will help. Feel free to message me.

    Peace and big hugs,

    Cynthia

  • HI MM, I think it's really important for transitioners to focus on how everything that goes on in your life isn't about gender or being trans. Sometimes people will project a lot of hopes into transitioning that feelings like depression, anxiety, anger or insecurity will instantly vanish when they transition. Sometimes they do but more often they don't. I hope you're in therapy to try and sort out what is trans related and what isn't. :)

  • I was wondering if you still practice playing or drawing? It seems from previous videos that those art forms were therapeutic for you. At the very least it seems to have helped you express your feelings and identity before. I have played the violin for almost 20 years and from personal experience have found it to be a great medium for expressing myself. Maybe using that as a guide would help you? I hope your doing ok.

  • Thanks for being willing to share these thoughts. I think it's important for ppl to know that medically transitioning doesn't always work for everyone, and we should all think long & hard about what we're doing & realize we might not like the results. I have a friend who did the same as you and then actually went back the other direction. Not easy, but what is? Hang in there.

  • I really admire you. Your bravery just to admit these feelings and share them with others. Your regrets, confusion or unease is only temporary. We are born with a body- Society throws a gender at you before you have a chance to think. The fact you are taking the effort to think about it is a positive thing. Time will help you with your soul searching these negative emotions are only temporary.

  • You've always looked like a cool guy to me and your present appearance suites you well. Keep on learning and challenging yourself with little things. Slowly some of those fears will no longer be so inhibiting. You did some cool growing in that canvasing position you tackled. Thanks for sharing the path your life has taken.
