  • One word...Beautiful... :-)

  • Dear E.U

This is a song for you as "Kinrokansha"

Thank you for your touching mail

  • Beautiful, and the pianist wow..... her tone is great compliments the viola's. Awesome. I bet it was a great experience putting this together. Best regards to both.

  • Very beautiful tone- thoughI must confess as a violist who has played this piece I am a little disappointed he played some of the more challenging passages down an octave - I hope it wasn't a cop out and was more an artistic choice.

  • @DevonConrad I am familiar with this artist. Believe me, it's not a cop out! He's a fantastic musician.

  • wonderfull preformance

  • wonderfull preformance

  • Having played this on the clarinet a few years I was curious to know how it would sound on the viola. Answer = fantastic!

  • Can you please tell me what you think about in your bow hand to make it so connected to the string all the time? I notice that as a consistent plus of your playing that makes it just sound fantastic and clear and consistent!!!

  • @LOTViolists Practice.

  • @LOTViolists try keeping your shoulder very heavy and your wrist relaxed, as opposed to keeping your elbow raised. that solved about 80% of my bouncing problem.

  • @DooeyDamageSystem I'll try that. Thank you! =D

  • *dies*

  • Wow, you sound fantastic! I am so envious. I wish I had your instrument too, it sounds great!

  • Dooood, from one violist to another, this is LOVELY! You and Makiko render a most sensitive version of a beautiful classic! How refreshing to encounter one who indulges the thoughtful nuances and who plays this movement with the sultry sound for which it calls. Bravi to you both! HOLLA!!!!!!!

  • you're incredible!

  • Although I love the clarinet version, this works beautifully for the viola as well - and very well played - with all the expression demanded by this intimately captivating Brahms.

  • Inspirational! Truly enjoyed it - will watch the rest now :)
